This is when they first became friends, in the fourth grade. Tracie is behind the Hall Kent sign in the white jumpsuit, looks like, and my son Parke is the chubby one in the white and blue baseball shirt next to the teacher in the blue suit. They both are now 49.

The recipe looks great, and I was wondering about frosting as well since I don't usually go that route. So happy to see no frosting necessary. (and I love that it has "normal" ingredients! the only thing I don't usually have on hand is sour cream but no biggy. I have used yogurt and even cottage cheese in its place for some recipes but I think for this one, sour cream will be used). Thanks for posting this!

Good to 'hear' from you, Glenda! Being our age (I think I'm a couple of months ahead of you) isn't easy, I'm glad you are able to have some help/care. And I understand if you wish it weren't necessary. Hang in there, and know we care about you! Rusty

Remember me posting asking if anyone made the "sketti pie" Maddie told us about? Ms Glenda to the rescue, she posted a link to a recipe that was actually fantastic!
We gobbled it up, big kids and little kids and even fussbutt DH liked it!

And I have made the raisin bran muffins twice now and they were very good. Each batch made 18 three times. Now I have to buy more raisin bran and buttermilk to make more. Thank you Glenda for the recipe. You must be the official recipe lady for KT. I've made several of your recipes but this is the first time I've thanked you, so an extra thank you.

I tripled the pineapple recipe to go with our ham. Too much for us 6 folk, but there was plenty to send home with son. I will make a note to double it only!
