I've been thinking about getting a part time job to pay off my Home Equity Loan. Not that much left to pay, but I so want it gone. Only, I've been retired for 8yrs. it will be this July, not sure I could go back to work.

I love Braum's. Sometimes we have a banana split for supper there. LOL I like to buy my milk there--it's a mini grocery store.

We used to live in Oklahoma and I really miss Braum's. They had the best chunky chocolate cappuccino frozen yogurt. We now live where frozen custard is ubiquitous and it is way TOO rich for me.

I looked at the web site. Looks like they have a good line of fresh meats and produce also. That would be a plus I think.

I wondered what had happened about the child-care job. If you posted it, I missed it.

I'm sure you will be a good addition to the staff there.

I worked at a Dunkin donuts once, not for long but I gained 5 LBs the first week! Careful Moni.

OMG I so love Braum's, when I lived in Norman I ate at Braum's a LOT, they have the best burgers everything is so fresh. Their shakes and malts are sooo good too as well as the ice cream of course. I wish I could find one here in the North Houston area but no such luck, at least when I lived in Plano they had them there.
I am jealous you will have access to so many of my fave things. Their frozen foods are great too. I wish they had Braum's delivery trucks like the Schwanns ones.

Wait a minute - they didn't give you real spoons? You had to eat with those silly little plastic ones? Well it could have been worse. You could have used those awful tiny wooden ones that are so flat they resemble tongue depressors.

Yes, those were biking buddies. We were riding the Oklahoma FreeWheel, a bike ride across our beautiful state. Esther and I are Braums lovers, and go there for a carton of ice cream ever so often. Did so yesterday in honor of the day. LOL
