I wasn't happy with the bottom 3 at all either. But I think the one they sent home will still get a recording contract. Also, it didn't look like the person was upset at all. Very classy.

I think that particular person should have gone home several weeks ago. I agree that person will probably do well and get a record contract.

What was it with Stevie Wonder tonight? It's almost like his set-up wasn't right or something. He seemed off.

I agree that the contestant sent home should have went home a couple weeks ago. I was surprised however by one other contestant in the bottom 3. I think the judges would've used the save on him.

The fellow they sent home, Michael Sarver, has plenty of talent and personality -- he will certainly get a recording contract from someone else. And, as they said, he'll be on tour with the group this summer.

Although my favorite at this point is Adam, I don't have a problem with any of the finalists this year. All are good singers and performers -- I would be happy to see any of them win.

I'm sorry to disagree. Scott should have gone home. And I hate to say it....but he got a sympathy vote. As did Ruben because he was so obese in American Idol 2. That is my terrible truth!

If that's the case, then they all are sympathy votes. Ruben had a beautiful voice but I don't think he was the "Idol" personality. I think he's coming around - maybe it's his marriage, but I have seen him become a little less bitter. I hope he continues to do well.

I was a little surprised that the "last chance" number didn't help out tonight. It was so much better than last night. He does have a beautiful sound, even when he belts it out some. Good luck to him - nice guy/family.

Stevie Wonder sounded horrible last night, his voice was cracking and everything, did anyone notice?

I'm so impressed by young Allison and Adam, too.

Although I have been a fan of Megan's in the past, I thought she was absolutely terrible on Wednesday night and I think she should have been the one sent home last night. But...there are so many factors other than talent considered when people vote and I guess her looks picked her up quite a few votes. She does have a really photogenic face but her singing was just horrible for me.

I thought Stevie was ok but I was only paying half-attention. Thanks Ont Gal because I would have missed it had you not posted. Only caught the last 15 mins though.

Who was that singing with Smokey? They also sounded off with their song.

I see Adam went back to his goofy hair style. He looked much better the night before.

I was happy with who they sent home. All my votes are going to Allison.

Megan is still in thanks to the Vote For the Worst site. They did the same thing with Sanjaya... keeping him in much longer than he should have been. She will be gone in a couple more weeks most likely.

Why people like to screw up AI is beyond me. If you don't like the show, just don't watch it.

They do have a vote for the worst site, but Megan is not the worst on there this year. I think the right person went home and next week it should be Scott. Adam is by far the best. I think Lil is awful, love Megan although I do agree that Megan was not too good this week. I never liked Rueben, and he still does not sing very well.

I missed AI last night, was out and didn't get home till after 10pm (I also missed Hell's Kitchen which runs right after AI on thursdays, dang!). Michael going home was the right choice. He and Scott are two singers that don't have a chance of winning in the end. NancyLouise

Do you remember when Paula told Scott to sing without the piano? All I kept thinking last night was why doesn't she tell Stevie Wonder the same thing. Scott and Stevie are both blind and both sing and play the piano. She should have told Stevie he was using the piano as a crutch. LOL

I didn't care for Steve Wonder's political "commercial". Did anyone hear that but me? He inserted it in one of the verses to the song he was screaming...oops, I mean singing

I heard it, Maybee; had to smile the way he got that in there. It really didn't bother me though.

Dh and I heard Stevie insert that part too and had a big eye roll.

Lydia, I know the vote for worst site has Megan Joy as the worst singer, I'm just saying they have it wrong. She is not the worst.

Sorry Lyndy, I misunderstood. I actually liked Megan last week, I think with the right song choices she could be very good.

I knew Michael was going to go eventually but I really think that Megan or Scott should have gone first. I think they are both way beneath the others.

Simon's right (IMHO) that Michael probably was not going to win the competition, but he sure is likeable, charming and attractive. I'm glad that he's going on tour with the rest of the finalists, maybe that'll further his career and get him away from such a dangerous job. His little girl is adorable! He's just so gosh darn likeable and real!

To me - Megan is just plain awful! Scott is not doing as well as what I thought he was doing in the beginning. I don't understand Matt's appeal to the judges. (Maybe it's his appearance that doesn't spell "Idol" to me.) Allison is usually good. I wasn't so wild about her performance this week. Of course Kris is one that I'm voting for every week. He's an Arkansas kid and has talent, I think. Figure Adam will be the winner and I think he's pretty darn versatile (and easy on the eyes...LOL)

Lil's performance this week wasn't good. I do think she has a big ol, powerful voice, though and usually like what she does.

I like Adam. There are some way too personal photos going around of him on the internet. It's pretty sad that just because he's on Idol and has become "famous" (so to speak), someone feels the need to ridicule him by posting something that is obviously very personal. It just shows how much jealous people want to try to 'benefit' at the expense of others.

I think he's very talented and will go a long way. He moved to Hollywood to try to further his career and until now, has really only done broadway stuff. I'm glad that he's been discovered and really hope the media or others don't try to ruin it for him by exposing a personal side of him that has nothing to do with his professional side.

He's definitely got my vote every week.

I did hear Stevie Wonder make his political comments but wasn't really surprised or bothered by them. It's a free country afterall, at least for now-LOL! I went to one of his concerts in Tucson back in the 80s about the time that AZ's govenor refused to make Martin Luther King's birthday a holiday. He went on and on about it during his concert and swore he'd never step foot in AZ again. I always wonder if he's ever been back.
