It's like having an assistant in the kitchen!

Morning, all!

Yesterday I made Marilyn's Flourless Chocolate Torte. I make this thing 5-8 times a year, but this time my induction range was the star of the show. Had it since August, but this is the first time for candy-type procedures. Melting chocolate was a mind-boggling experience! After about 60 seconds, all the big chocolate chunks and the butter were melted and ready to use. Compare that to about 4 minutes with the old stove, with me stirring like a fool. I set the induction burner at 3.5 and stirred. No burning, no sticking, just quick, effective melting that made this torte really easy to put together. I'm in love with this induction stuff! Plus, a Canadian friend says he will pick up a Lagostina cookware set in Canada and bring it down in January or February, the next time he and his wife come down to FL. Ahhhhh, life is good!
