Rosewitch, England was definitely one of my favorite places I have ever visited. My folks took me there when I was 14, and I remember bits and pieces the Crown jewels, walking amongst the Stonehenge stones (roped off now, vandalism), Stratford upon Avon. Time for me to take my own 14YO. Im trying to think how I can get over there for a whole summer, LOL. Dlynn, I could have worked so much more. God love your babies and God bless you and your husband. You'll be in my prayers. You have a heart of gold and I wish there were more people like you in the world. Your dogs are in heaven along with my little tomato, Eirn, my dear Cocker Spaniel whom I just lost 2 1/2 weeks ago. I had a dream 3 months before he died that I was in heaven and he was coming to see me. I told him to wait because my mom was just entering heaven. Happy Holidays, Everyone! Martin, love the kitten in the tree. Janalyn, fabulous view! Up until today we've had bright and unusually warm weather in east Tennessee. The season started out with my sibs and I hosting my mom's side of the family, 'bout a hundred people. Then we carried on the tradition of Christmas Eve at Grannie's house, even though Grannie's been gone 25 years and now it's the eve of Christmas eve. And then, ...well, let's just say I don't want to see turkey again until Spring. A Comedy of Errors best describes my Christmas. I did most of my shopping on line and had it shipped to my mom's house. Have I mentioned that my mom's short term memory is shot? I spent a day and a half on the phone and the Internet with the vendor and the post office over a package that hadn't arrived 4 days after tracking had it delivered. Mom was checking the mailbox everyday, asking everyone if they had seen it. It was in her basement. Then there was the day we drove by a toy store after lunch, and I left her in the car while I ran in quickly to pick up a game. Returning to the car, or where I thought I'd left the car, I found no mother. She had driven off. The upside of all this is that she picked out and tried on almost all her gifts and still was surpised when she opened everything.

It is true that some of the faucet companies make a level that they sell for lower cost through home center stores, but these will not have the same serial number as the more expensive, usually better made, faucet. I've noticed Home Depot seems to also carry more expensive lines too. For example, they carry the Whitehaven sink - and it is the real Whitehaven sink. A company cannot sell two different versions of the same product under the same serial number. If you see a well made faucet you like at a plumb supply store, get the serial number if you want to do comparable home center or online shopping. If the price difference is not much, I do try to give local companies my business.
