Sara, my 'Cantab' is 45 ft. tall. I had no idea it would get that big. I bought it has a groundcover. One went up and I let it go. I have been moving other plants out from under it as it has grown. I have a few seedlings from the original Acer capillipes. One is about 15 ft. tall. It's been my experience that they grow relatively fast. Mike

I have boxes and boxes but no scanner. I guess I may need to get one. unfortunately there are a lot of photos that have no names and I have a lot of others that need to go to parts of my family that we have lost touch with and have no way of ever finding them. I LOVE the photos that you all have posted. The sepia tones and as was said the dressy clothes. Oh my, Bottom left photo is my brother with a past president of the US...also bottom shelf the 8x10 right middle side is my Mom when she married. I bought this piece of furniture just for my family photos. It was from a tear down in the NH or Boston area. A built in cabinet. I refurbished it with glass shelves. Stripped all the thick white pain off and then stopped as it goes well with my chocolate walls in the morning room. I wish I had a scanner,,,,sigh...

Where did you get that interesting splashy one the you say is a cross with 'RHP'? I WANT one of those! It's a beauty. They all are, of course, but that one really jumped at me... 'RHP' does produce some interesting growth in high light. Here's a leaf I took a photo several years ago, the first time mine had the deep colored growth... I find leaf anomalies interesting. Here are a few I've photographed over the years. H. aff. annulata (which I don't grow anymore - never did figure out what did this...) Kerrii with a super-deep cleft (official name - obcordate) leaf for a big heart - appropriate for Valentine's Day! A weird new leaf on revoluta, makes me think of the annulata... Turned green as it matured. Go figure! I thought maybe it was going to spontaneously become variegated, but no such luck! Denise in Omaha
