Hi Kids,

Running in your underwear? Pleeeze... Where do they come up with this stuff? If it's an activity that is 'enjoyed' by the locals I would have expected that there would have been some locals running along with them, also in their underwear. I guess when they say that it is enjoyed by the locals, it's as a spectator sport. I thought that one was silly at best.

The rest of the show was OK. The challanges did not seem to be very hard but I'm sure it was very, very cold and uncomfortable. 'Snow plow' looked easy as did 'Brides', getting to the locations must have been the real challange.

I'm glad they are on their way out of Russia. I know it was the editing but I am not left with a very good impression of it. I know that there is much beauty in that part of the world but, winter is not the best time to show it off.

So off they go...on to India. The blonds are still in it...saved by a thong?

Mindy et al, I got that tall blue pot I had my eye on. It might have been $200 marked down to 40 marked down to TEN DOLLARS. I also got a big metal/copper bucket marked down from at least 150 to $37.50 (I don't think she did the math right. I'll have to check in the morning. I had wanted something like a watering trough near the bees, and this might fill the bill. Or we can use it for logs. That magnificient green pot. I met the nice guy who works the floor. I told him what I wanted to pay for it and without my knowing it he called the ?manager? anyway a woman, and she no way was she going below $160. I think the problem is there was no pink marked down price, so it was 75 % off 699. I really don't want to pay that much because I know I won't move it in freezing weather, and it may break. I'm only willing to risk 100 or less. If anyone can talk them down to $100 or less, I'll take you to LaPatisserie for lunch or Quebrada in Arlington for a cake. Could also do Lakota for a dozen cookies. There's a challenge for the bargainers out there! I'll pay you back in cash and could even meet you at Mahoneys to load and transport pot. Mindy, I saw two "maroonish" pots (one upside down, the other on top) on the pallet, next to the sky blue tall. Are those the ones you are talking about? If there was a salmon pot in the "transition room" I missed it entirely. I'm not looking at your post right this second, but I thought you said it had some branches dispayed it it. I'll look again, maybe when I check to see if the christmas tree is marked down. I wasn't too offended by the look of its branches. But then I had pots on my mind. Marie

"Shake and Bake" refers to the nickname given to the state of California, which it is not only named for, but it is the state flower for :) California is often referred to as "Shake and Bake, USA WELL DUH!...lol, FANNA WHO IS Hysterical laughing at herself for FORGETTING THIS FACT about Callie! See I am afraid to TRY any Poppy for breadseed because what if someone sends one they THINK is safe and it isn't? JASMINE, I ACCIDENTLY TYPED THE WRONG NUMBER! All is WELL it WAS Margos I was working on and since I believe I meanted the gift she gave me it was clear it was just a slip of the finger or brainwave or something along those lines..... Lisa I stayed up last night til 5:00 am or would that be stayed up this morning til? Oh well, which ever that is what I did. It is just a matter of me bring ODC and can't stop until I feel HAPPY with the results....lol!!! WOW you all are sending in some REALLY REALLY good stuff!!! I thought Victor was the most passive/aggresive jerk I've seen in a long time! That's what I thought. lol Geez! If he thinks he's so perfect, then yesterday's hike up the mountain for no reason should have been a real eye-opener for him. The gymnastics roadblock? Oy. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that! I remember being on a balance beam before and I hated it. Ladies- we all need to work on our upper-body strength, starting now! That was embarrassing to watch, especially because I knew I would look just as lame-o! lol LOVED the vampire challenge, Woody and I looked at each and shouted VAMPIRE when the tasks were offered! lol OK, so we're just big kids. I play with dolls and he loves blood and guts. And we both liked watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. lol When in Transylvania, do what the Transylvanians would do! Phooey on the gypsys! Why did they want to keep a car carcass? That made no sense to me. It was fun to watch, though. Lots of little funny moments. And I still want to smack Victor, the Perfect. He needs to listen to his sister more. She's no dummy.

Here is one reference to it Lindsey. It's from an interview with Mel White from the father/son team. It has been discussed on other boards also. I haven't followed them (the boards) closely. I just hit upon them when Googling for clarification when I see something on the show that I want to understand. KishaÂs sexual orientation was first revealed in an After Elton interview with Mel White, who was eliminated with his son Mike two episodes ago, in which he also said that Luke Adams wanted to be identified as gay on the show. I think I'm enjoying a season with not much drama. If the U-turn this season was a 'blind' one, how come another team mentioned it last night? Was someone a blabbermouth or what? I thought Phil showed a little too much interest in the gals when Cara came in very skimpily clad. lol

Do you think that it was Luke & Margie who told the rest of the teams that it was them who posted the U-turn? The only other people who knew it was them, where the folks associated with the production of the show. Who else would have spilled the beans? Phil? hummm...now you have me thinking.

Sooey: Maybe somewhere along the line we'll be told how the others found out. I thought the purpose of the 'blind' aspect was so the other teams wouldn't retaliate, etc. Of course, I've watched enough reality shows to know that people often tell things on themselves that brings about repercussions. Survivor people never do learn to keep their mouths shut. lol
