We haven't had a swap in a long while. I would be glad to coordinate it if we get enough interested.

Sounds like fun to me! It's a good way to get to know a fellow KTer a lot better.

For those who are unfamiliar with the KT swaps - they are usually season themed. You get to know your swap partner through emails and then send a box full of items that you think your partner would like as well as items from your hometown or state if you want. I've given and recieved candles, windchimes, paper pads, birdfeeders, pictures, postcards, handmade items, candy, etc. No price limit, but there is a date that packages should be shipped by.

Missed last year because of promotion at work. Missed the previous year because I was working toward that promotion. Wife and son attended instead. But, this year my wife is due to deliver my second son: Parrish Granger Reese, on or around the end of April, first of May. I have some plants to trade and I am always looking for hydrangeas. Anyone have any to trade in person between Auburn and Anniston near the state line? BTW, Granger is french for? Anyone?

TINA asked me to start a new thread since I wanted to make sure that I had captured everyone's emails from my time in hospital. I am now facing complication 2, but my husband has offered to stand in for me, bring and collect everything, and even bring the food. Will everyone please look at my last because there are many things I asked for, but did not receive a response on, and I do not want people to expect we've made an agreement and not get it. I would like rosemary sage artichoke plant? (I'm envious of my California daughter who has had one going for four years!) native plants for dry and damp shade -- we have ripped out a ton of ivy and have to hold a hill together! I also want a pussy willow cutting or plantlet and any type of heuchera, toad lily, turtlehead, or other native plant that loves shade to dappled shade, lots of clay, and occasional bouts of very damp soil. Sure, I haven't done a swap for quite a while, I'd love to take part.
Last one I was involved in was a few years back when I volunteered to organize a snowman swap that ended up having 60 people taking part...I tell ya I had snowmen from one end of my house to the other...ROFL, was pretty happy the day the last box was out, out, out!

I count 19 people already! I'm bringing this back to the top to see if anyone else wants to sign up. I'll keep bringing it back up until this Sunday and then that night I will divide everyone up into partners.
