What's for dinner Friday?

Happy March, everyone. Spring will soon be here, but a cold front has come through here and decided to stay until at least Monday. That's okay--just enough time for some cold weather food. I made two loaves of the cinnamon bread that I posted this morning on the "Recipe" post. I'm not a good "swirler" and forgot to swirl the cinnamon sugar after I sprinkled it on top, so it isn't very pretty, but the taste is outstanding.

Today, I made a big pot of bean and bacon soup. I will make some fluffy bread dumplings with parsley to pour the soup over. I haven't made it for years. Diced onion to sprinkle over the top and maybe cornbread, maybe not--already plenty of carbs in the dumplings.

So that's dinner at our house--what are you having?
