I made this last week, and liked it so much that I'm having it again today. An unusually white stir fry: tofu, cauliflower, onions, garlic, and rice noodles. I'll sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on top.

I have eaten also and I just had a sloppy Joe sandwich with tomatoes on it and some iced tea to drink. I might have some Greek yogurt a bit later.

I allowed myself one of the frozen favorites of mine: Stouffer's creamed chipped beef, over a potato, with a side of green beans. I love the stuff but know better than to eat it often, due to the sodium.

Wowzer, Alisande, that looks great and sounds great, too. Is that the tofu that looks sort of like white meat chicken? I tried a recipe with tofu once, but back then I didn't know there were different grades of it. Whatever I used wasn't the right one! :-) I'd love the recipe and I bet a lot of others will want it, too.

Sue, did you have a church dinner today? Sloppy Joes sound good too, but I don't make them very tasty. Tried lots of recipes but they don't taste like I remember from my youth.

Gadgets, I wish I was at your house for dinner. I never thought about serving chipped beef over a potato. Woo hoo--new treat! I've never had Stouffer's but chipped beef is salty unless you rinse it a bit. I like most Stouffer's stuff--their lasagne is excellent! My favorite is the escalloped chicken and noodles, though.

We had the pork in orange and ginger sauce that I posted on this morning's recipe thread. It's excellent, and in my keeper binder. Had green beans amandine to go with it. We don't like green beans plain, have to have a sauce or something to jazz them up. These were coated with sliced almonds sauteed in butter with some lemon juice. Mashed potatoes too.

Last nite I made the buttermilk dough that sits in the frig overnite. Pulled of some chunks and made rolls for dinner.
Fresh pineapple for dessert.

I made enough potatoes to turn the leftovers into the casserole with sour cream, onions and shredded cheese.

with all the basket ball games i opted for corn bread (i made) and chowder (campbell made) lol...

Yes, that's the tofu. I seasoned this dish with Thai fish sauce instead of soy sauce. That's another reason why it looks so white. I'm sure fish sauce is an acquired taste, but I've acquired it. :-)

Patti no church dinner today. I didn't even make it to church as Mike had to work and the kids didn't go. Our church dinners are usually the first Sunday of each month. Be sure and join us :)

Alisande, I use fish sauce in a few recipes and I really can't even tell it's in the dish.

Bengardening, now that's ambition--making turkey and dressing! I have on turkey breast in the freezer to roast when the kids come in May.

Susan, if I hear one more referee whistle I think I'll tear my hair out! That and those squeaky shoes on the hardwood floor. Yikes!

Your dinner sounds great as usual, Jasdip. You could make a shepherd's pie with those potatoes and pork if you had leftovers.
