YA'LLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! The point is serving cake on THE STACKED PLATES! I learned it here on the forum from you!!!! You can have one in 5 minutes (cake not included) if you have the plates, candle holders, skinny vases. Ya'll saw chocolate and forgot how we can live larger for less. We are blessed. Our guests will think we are THE ACE OF CAKES if we use our stacked plates this way. Am I standing here with toilet paper stuck to my shoe again????? Have ya'll been making cakes forever and stacking them on the stacked plates????? OMG (grimmiced the newbie who just fell off the turnip truck). OK-OK-OK "Let them eat cake!" I'm so glad he liked it. I enjoy baking and have made a batch of Toll House cookies every week for the last 25 years. lol Oh my gosh our anniversary is next month. Guess I better get busy and plan something special. DH loves anything lemon so I try and make a lemon meringue pie when we are invited somewhere, so he'll have something for desert he'll like. He complains that he only gets one piece though! I took one to my aunt's for Christmas once, my cousin called about an hour after we left to tell DH that he'd just finished the pie and it was sooo good! DH was fit to be tied. I did make him another the next day. Linda thanks for reminding me about hollowing out the cake and adding strawberries and whipped cream I'd forgotten all about that one. Marion

Thank you everyone! I love the cooking forum and cooking itself (you should have seen lunch today: roast beef with onions and baby carrots, instant mashed potatoes and gravy, YUM! Mom did that meal as usual. She cooked the roast, onions and potatoes in the crock pot) but one of my other passions, gardening, is starting to gear up for the year though I devote my time to each. You may remember that I got the novel "Fried Green Tomatoes At The Whistle Stop Cafe" for my birthday too. I can't wait to try some of those recipes! You all know how fond I am of fried green tomatoes :). It seems I've activated everyone's sweet tooth lol. I did have a wonderful birthday (I'll remember it for a long,long time). Thank you everyone! I made one for my granddaughter the same way Susie said. I didn't use a real barbie doll as I didn't want to ruin the doll. But used a dollar store version and I also made her a court of 5 dolls too. The were made from a large muffin tin. It was so much fun and she loved it and so did her cousins that were there too. I just put the heads only after the cakes or muffins were baked. It was much cheaper than having it made. Mary
