Any kind, I'm not picky when it comes to quiche!

I DO make a mean hamburger quiche for evening time.

I guess Godiva Chocolates are my favorite candy for the occasional chocolate fix. Sees Candy has gone way downhill too except for a few classic items. Their stores are full of candy bar type stuff and they got rid of Sugar Sticks!!!. Now, they still make them because they are still put in the boxes for holidays. But you can't buy them alone anymore. You have to buy a box of stuff you don't want to get 2 or 3 of them. I like Russell Stover candy at the drugstore. All my old favorites have been reformulated or changed. UNO bars are no longer much different from a Three Muskateer. Annabel took the middle layer of chocolate out the Rocky Road bar. Hershey's has recently change their chocolate Kiss formula also. Probably think we won't notice by introducing all the silly different varieties but people did. Even Lifesavers messed up their flavors. It will be just like what happened to hamburgers *sigh*. A whole generation of kids grew up on McD's so they think In and Out or Sonic are something special. LOL I still like Swedish Fish. But only the original red ones. The multi-colored ones are just wrong.

Guess I'm just not watching as much TV anymore but I haven't seen many of these. Don't have a favorite at least that's been broadcast in recent history. 20+ years ago there were some really good commercials on TV and radio too for that matter but now it's mute or change channels. Least favorite: Political ads, that asinine St. Jude's commercial when mommy goes "I'M SCARED TOO!" (but at least it seems they pulled that - there's a different one now), any feminine "freshness" or the Viva Viagra commercials. (Elvis must be spinning in his grave... unless they gave him a Cialis when he died.) And I don't give a hoot about "Little" Jimmy's Johnson, sheesh. Even Terry Bradshaw wouldn't do that commercial. I want to say grow up but there'd be an unintended pun there. At least now there's a good reason for weight gain. Going to get snacks during commercials. Bring back the cigarette commercials. They were creative and entertaining at least. Frank Bartles and Ed Jaymes, we need you now more than ever though the Betty White & Abe Vigoda Snickers commercial is not bad.

I love any kind of Quiche. I favor Spinach Swiss Bacon Quiche. (I'm allergic to eggs so I can only have a little taste.)

I have a recipe for a good salmon quiche with dill, but Gayles spinach, swiss and bacon is a favorite with me.

Bacon or ham and gruyere. And the crust has to be well done, not soggy.

I like spinach and swiss cheese. I used to have an excellent recipe for Quiche Lorraine, but I haven't seen it in years.

Linda--here you go. I bake them both and freeze one after it cools enough to wrap.

SALMON QUICHE
15-1/2 oz. can salmon (I sometimes use fresh poached)
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk or cream
2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
3-6 drops Tabasco sauce
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
2 baked 9' pie shells (I use frozen ones for this)

In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk, sour cream, mayo and Tabasco. Add salmon, broken into bite-size pieces. Blend in cheese, onion and dill. Divide betwen the to pie shells. Bake at 325 until set, about 40-45 minutes, covering rim if it browns too soon.

I love eggs fried,scrambled,poached,boiled and as omelettes but I can't stand Quiche.
