Marshalls - Le Crueset, Chantal - Cheap

Having just lost my whole thread by some quirk of CF, I'll abreviate this one to the basic info.

Don't know how the Marshall's stocking system works of if they have the same thing in all stores, but yesterday I saw a motherlode of Le Cruesent 9x13 bakeware in red/white and Chantal Talavera baking and serving dishes for cheap. The LC was $12 each. The Talavera was anywhere from $7-$40 per piece, but about half normal retail. The only thing about the Talavera is I noticed that it was the "wrong" color. That line comes in blue, curry, green and cinnabar. This was decidely much redder than the cinnabar. If you're not trying to match other pieces in the line, not an issue.

They also had a lot of teaekttles. the Le Crueset were about $32. The Chantal (god, but I love my Chantal kettle) were anywhere from $23 for the tea ball (cute as a dickens) to $32 for the larger kettles. No copper ones that I could find, but serveral stainless and all colors of the other (and the "right" colors).

I resisted temptation with the bakeware, but didn't get out without a heavy Cuisinart 9x9 brownie pan ($5) and a Chicago Metallic Professional jellyroll pan ($5). I could justify those, having broken my Pyrex 9x9 and lost the jellyroll pan to the last move.

Anyway, thought I'd mention it in case someone needs a new tea kettle or a white elephant holiday gift.
