Hi and welcome. One of the most popular and 'goes with everything' colors is BM Gray Mist. The color you chose would really would depend on your furniture color though. Oak? Black? White? Cherry? I would use the blue in the rug as the pop of color for the room and go with something else for the walls. Blue walls might drown out the beautiful rug.

I painted my living dining Creamy Mushroom by Behr when I moved in my new house. But with time i realized how this color changes in different light exposure. I'm adding two pictures one in daylight and one in evening. I like how the color is more towards warm gray with daylight but hates when it shows brown and green undertone in the evening. Now I am changing to Edgecomb Gray hoping to get a nice greige color with least undertones. Please let me know if I'm making a right decision. TIA

Well. As one who drives Ms. Lori insane with my "halving" of formulas? You could simply ask for a gallon of Anew.............at one HALF the formula strength. Take it home, roll an entire wall. Worst that happens is you re paint and wasted a bit of time and money. HOWEVER! My favorite ? Ben Moore "Wish" AF 680..At one half strength formula. It's a beautiful vapor on the walls......and gorgeous.. Sorry Lori. Shame on me : ) I have used a thousand gallons. I DO hope when you are "testing" that you go large enough and FAR from all other samples. You will not be able to tell any other way. Roll a wall and get near/up to some trim.

I am really liking mine. Remember it all looks different once applied than a swatch will. I have the lighter color - Weathered White - in my north facing kitchen and utility rooms, and the related darker shade in the adjacent rooms that are north facing and also don’t need quite as much light.
