Hey Ad. Just by coincidence, I've been recently eye-balling a golden-foliaged cultivar-'Sun King'-for use in large containers in my community's downtown area. As such, they would never be in proximity to wild areas, certainly not high-quality natural areas. Should I then still be concerned about escape into the wild? Last thing I want to do is set up another invasive problem. But the plant does have attributes which would make it useful in our system. Thanks for any comments you may have. +oM

We have the KA 42" built-in SXS w/ice and water dispenser in the door (purchased in spring 2007). What would you like to know about it? We had a couple of the door hinges (springs?) tightened or greased shortly after it was installed (they made a pinging noise when opening or closing--don't remember which)--nothing major there. Our ice/water dispenser had a problem in the fall of '08--some parts were replaced under warranty. It seemed as though this was a defect or "recall" sort of thing if I recall. This past summer, our dispenser was dripping/leaking because the flap inside the dispenser chute wasn't closing tightly (it popped open every time we let the fridge or freezer door "slam" shut, allowing warm and humid air in). The repair person made an adjustment which allowed the flap to close nice and tight, and that seemed to solve the problem. Otherwise it works well for us.

I also had been giving dream bones mini chews to my dogs. About 4 months ago my 7lb Chiweenie started throwing up blood and bloody stool 30 minutes after giving him the treat. I immediately took him to the vet where he had to spend the night. $400 later he got to come home. I didn't realize it was the treat as the vet said sometimes dogs get a intestinal virus. 3 days ago my short legged jack russell started the same thing. I took him to the vet the next morning when I found all the blood. 3 days later he got to come home. $1100 this time. I threw away all the dream bones treats that I had and will never buy these again. My dogs loved them and ate them for a couple years but my vet said that it was the treat that caused this. He got severely dehydrated and his kidneys were in bad shape. His white blood cell count was off. He was in really bad shape within a few hours. I am going to email the company and send them copies of my vet bills. We trust people to make stuff for our babies and then they poison them. I will never buy this product again and I will do everything I can to make sure no one else does either.

hi Denita, she made it on our behalf. Yesterday, she indicated it was put in the mail. Our next step is to do exactly as you said. We might ask for claim no and contact ins. Company directly. ETA sorry if there is confusion re he or she. Our initial lawyer is a he, when the trouble begsn he passed it down to another gal in his firm. we have never spoke or heard from him again. To think he wants us to review our wills etc. with him! Not!
