I have had my BS 36" RNB with grill installed for about two months. So far I love it. It is not perfect but I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The burners are awesome and gorgeous. The oven is huge and accurate. My baking has never been so good. The broiler is terrific. I made some beautiful ribeyes under it yesterday as a change of pace from the grill. The door does not get hot but the kick plate does and so do the knobs. The grill is good but not great. The back runs hotter than the front part so I have to move the food around a bit. I really wanted a grill because we don't have the ability to grill outdoors.

boxerpup, I'm a little late reading this but still want to send my heartfelt sympathies and say that I love that beautiful face. What many people don't understand is that losing a well loved pet is like losing a family member. I've lost many pets over the years and I now have four boys who's ages are 14, 11 and two are 9. I see age creeping up on them every day, especially the 14 year old and it breaks my heart to think of losing them. Unfortunately that is part of loving and having pets. I would rather love and be loved by a pet and endure the hurt tho than to do without the joy and love that they bring into our lives and it sounds like C brought plenty of both into yours. C will live in your heart and your memories forever and no other dog will ever take her place as she has her own special nook in your heart belonging to her alone. I'm sure, tho, there is still room in your heart for another furbaby to make it's place one day.

Wow! I was gone yesterday, when last I saw this there were only 27 posts! I tried to read through all of them, but I'm not sure I caught everything. I tried photoshopping Cilantro's green idea and Holligator's dull gold and a black frame around the stained glass like trailrunner's. I picked the green & gold out of the stained glass; I'm not sure how'll they'll look on everyone's monitors, especially the gold. Sorry, but I only "painted" around the window on the gold. No matter which you decide to do, IMHO the stained glass needs to retain some sort of frame, either the current wood or black. I'm still partial to tzmaryg's idea of the bottom part of the window white and leaving the top part they way it is; that is also a bit of a compromise with your DH. But others have suggested a gel to tone down the redness of the mahogany. Any scraps of the mahogany around to experiment with? Or for the green, maybe the color of your dishes. Sorry, I'm not much help other than trying to give you a mock up and even that may be showing up a little too bright! I hope it helps some, though!

LOL, Shelley you said it! Whenever I water my plants and disturb one they come out and stare me right in the eye and, yes, I do start apologizing for interrupting them or calling attention or whatnot. I notice when they're very unhappy they do that thing boxers do when they're about to fight, they go back and forth from one leg to another - or in their case one set of legs to another. I have one living right now in my Madagascar Palm tree and he turns his head and looks at me as soon as I come outside with the hose in my hand. It's his/her yard. I like Monica's because s/he is posing and smiling for the camera.
