I have a card reader/writer that plugs into a USB port. You put your memory card in it and you can save pictures to it just like you would a memory stick.

I take the memory stick out of camera and insert into the picture frame.

Memory sticks, memory cards, external hard drives - they all work exactly the same.

You will need a card reader to put the data on your card from your computer. Many printers and some computers have built in readers, but you can buy a little one that plugs into the USB that holds your card. Some read all kinds of cards, and some are type specific.

You can drag or copy anything onto the card - or just have the card in the computer in reader and save it to the card.

If you have the card in your camera and have your camera hooked up to the computer, you can even use that connection to put data on your card.

Some frames support digital video files. Many digital cameras take video now. I would want one that played the videos also.

I am not too smart with this stuff, so tell me, If I have my camera hooked up to my computer, how do I transfer the pictures from my computer to my memory card in my camera???

I just bought a new Sony Cyber-shot and it plays videos, and can even hook it up to my tv or pc.

enjoyingspring, if you have your camera turned on and connected to the computer, click on My Computer and your camera should appear. Click on the camera icon and that will open the memory card. You can then copy and paste the image files that you want there.

Hello Marryanntx, I followed your instructions, I opened the memory card on "my computer", I copied a pictured from a file but when I went to "paste" it, I couldn't do it. The paste feature was not "highlighted" when I went edit then paste.

Any other instructions that maybe I am not doing??

I can put pictures on my memory card from my camera, just like you can put them on a memory stick.

You may need to "save as" like Moni said. And browse to save it to your camera.

OK, now I am really feeling stupid. I copied a picture, but there is no "save as", what do you mean by "browse to save to your camera"??

I've had one for three yrs now. The instructions said to make a F drive. I download pictures into 'my pictures' then open my F drive. Then drag and drop into my camera card. (I have to have two windows open to do this.)I'm sure it will tell you in your instructions. They may have changed since I got mine. But you could check that out. Its easy once you figure it out. You'll love it , just get the biggest one you can afford. Mine was one of the first ones and now I want the big one. Or maybe go online to your camera site. Sounds like there are many ways to do this.
You'll love it. Mine is portable so this means I can take it with me and show my pictures by just inserting my card. You'll love it.
