When I record with my A570 canon , it always looks blurry when i look at it on computer monitor. Is there something I'm not doing right.

I assume you are talking about a Canon A570 - and you are recording video?

What player are you using? That may be your problem. Or you could have it on the lower quality setting....

Movie Mode

The PowerShot A570 has the same high quality movie mode as Canon's other DIGIC III based cameras. You can record video at 640 x 480 (30 fps) with sound until the file size hits 4GB. That takes about 32 minutes, which is pretty good these days. Do note that you will need a high speed memory card in order to record long continuous movie clips.

You can record longer movies by either lowering the resolution or the frame rate. The other resolutions are 320 x 240 and 160 x 120, with the latter having a 3 minute recording time limit. The frame rate can be lowered to 15 fps (and it's locked there at the lowest resolution), though I don't recommend doing this, as your video will be awfully choppy.

There's also a "Fast Frame Rate" mode available, which lets you record up to 1 minute of 320 x 240 video at a whopping 60 frames/second. This is great for videos of fast moving subjects.

As is usually the case, you cannot use the optical zoom lens while recording your movie clip. You can, however, use the digital zoom. The image stabilizer is active during filming.

Movies are saved in AVI format, using the M-JPEG codec. The A570 IS does not have any in-camera movie editing tools, unlike some other Canon cameras.

I couldn't find any current postings regarding this question and with electronics, "current" is important. I record the same shows each day from my DVR (ReplayTV). I subscribe to Comcast cable. I want to record these same shows to a DVD so I can take it with me to play on a DVD Player occasionally. Most of them seem to require connecting it to a PC afterwards to burn the DVD. I want to avoid that step. I want to be able to take out the DVD and have it immediately available for use. I was told by a Best Buy employee that what I'm looking for is the Sony RDR-GX355. It has unconversion to 1080i with an HD tuner, multi-format recording, HDMI output and one touch dubbing. It sounded like it does exactly what I want it to do. However, the reviews I've read on it have not been very good. Some of them say you can't record from HBO or other movie channels because of copyright messages and that it isn't reliable and various other "cons." I was wondering if any of you have experience with that one or any other that would work well for me. Basically, I only want to record ABC, NBC and CBS channels. And its important that it complete the recording without having to hook it up to a computer to burn it to the DVD (UNLESS THAT'S EASIER THAN IT SOUNDS). I'm basically electronically challenged so please speak English.

Truss calculation missing in county records

If you pulled permits on your name, you take responsibility for the project and you must provide the township with all necessary paperwork... All specialty trades like plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc provide you with their own permit application, and whatnot is required. That said, an engineer from a truss company designes trusses for the project stamps the truss plan with calculations and you submit that to the town. When plans are approved you get a copy of everything to have it on the job site for inspectors during inspections. Contact your truss company and ask for a few copies of stamped calculations and submit them to the building department, they shouldn't have any issues sending you a few copies if you got the plans from them. Now if you are in a different situation and took the permit out under the pretenses that you will be doing all the work yourself and you hiring all unlicensed trade to do the work as many homeowners do it here and had someone with a program to draw some trusses for your roof and have someone with a rubber stamp-stamp the drawings good luck with getting needed calculations for your roof.

This winter we've had the most days that it never got above 60° that I can remember, but it never got below 42 in January, which is the coldest month. It's also been one of the wettest winters, and when it rains here, the temperature stays in the 50s day and night. People who live in the tropics and have very dark skin do not have many wrinkles, but sun exposure can cause wrinkles, especially if you have light skin to begin with. I think wrinkles are hereditary, to a certain degree - at least the tendency to get wrinkles. People who live in cold climates might get less sun exposure, and that could help prevent wrinkles, but not the cold per se.

My roofer is asking for large sums of money, thousands of dollars.....after I paid him the contractual amount. The roof was completed last November. He keeps billing my insurance company. I owe him for each bill they approve until he sends in the final bill. So far...I've ONLY paid him the down payment and final payment....until the insurance company sends the depreciation check.
