Thank you for posting this, kmcg85. Although I'm not a fan of hunting decor, I find ideas for working with knotty pine, of which my home has plenty. I like a lot of her art, too.

I, too, went through the whole blog - love it. I loved the spool cabinet too! Hubby and I have been on the lookout for one - one that size is hard to find in our area, and $$$$.

Again, thanks for sharing - this will for sure become a favorite of mine.

Yes, it's easy for bloggers to see people coming in from one source and they usually will venture over. So I'm sure she read the kitchen thread. fwiw, it wasn't more tame than a few threads I remember in the past. Several did love or like the kitchen. Some couldn't see that it was a workable/functional kitchen. Guess you can't expect to have a beautiful kitchen where one or two people could still cook/bake easily.

That's very considerate of you, Tina. Yes they can see where visitors come from. They would see a lot of people coming in from Garden Web through the link. SOmetimes they'll pop in to say hello to see what's going on when there's a change in traffic. There are also services that look for mention of company names to notify management but I doubt a small blog would do that unless it's free. That's happened here a few times where a rep shows up to apologize and make amends. I'm sure they do vanity checks as well by googling to see if anyone's talking about their blog. Those women have guts putting themselves out there like that, even when they're professionals. Cruel world. You have to wonder. They must know the blogger will see it. I also wonder about the threads on contests asking people to vote for them or their kids. Those sites would see the flood gates open from the Garden Web.
