Making biscotti....my recipe of Biscotti di Prato...made that recipe easily 50 times....always turns out well but prehaps when I got distracted and over browned them.

A friend is having a "do" after a recital this evening and I am making biscotti to take for her spread...

So I mixed them up as usual...seemed a little soft....I added more flour seemed Ok and I baked them and they all flattened out...like a fat pancake!

Edible but not beautiful as I imagined...

Why???? Not enough flour for sure....but why this time did the recipe seem to need almost 1/2 cup more flour than usual?

Did the 'biscotti dubyuks" know I wanted to show off and purposly flatten them?

AARGH!

I trust no one else has ever had something you were making for special turn out un-special,have you? LOL!
