Tollumnia Golden Sunset 'Waioma Sunset' AMAOS
Comments (31)Tequila Sunrise and Pretty-N-Pink are maybe in the process of being registered. Still Ten English pounds is a lot of moular to some (and me). Tequila Sunrise is lovely. Pretty-N-Pink has a minor fault only visible to Tolumnia purists. Had a look at Orchidom previously and was impressed. Closer to home and you do not have to worry so much about the guardians of the gates. You might have to be careful with âÂÂclonesâÂÂ, are they talking about Mericlones which are usually more expensive than seedlings. The other big advantage is growing conditions. The Caribbean is probably Tolumnia Heaven. Three clones of Tolu. Alyshia showing the variation you sometimes get from the one compot of seedlings which in this case means produced from seed. The crossing is Shannon Elizabeth x Sizzler. Sizzler was registered by Robert Perreira. Tracking the ancestors of a cross will usually find an ancestor registered by Perreira or Moir. Comments (0)I tried this cuphea this season for the first time. Its advertised compact size was appealing as I put it in a pot. (In the past I have always used "Vermillionaire"). The size was right but in this one off it wasn't nearly as floriferous as I have experienced with "Vermillionaire" and I don't think I ever saw "our" hummingbirds use it....See MoreADM FLOORS LAGUNA NATURAL OR SUNSET
Comments (1)It will not be any better help to see this on the net in someone elses home unless tjhey have your exact home with lighting , flooring and window facing and even tehn not real. Buy a box bring it home and lay it out in your space that is the only way to really pick flooring .Both have pics on the the site they seem quite similar to me....See Morecomet in the sky after sunset
Comments (22)Look to the west maybe 45 minutes after sunset. I believe the comet will be setting about 9pm tonight our time or about 2:45 hrs after sunset. Venus is pretty easy to see as it the brightest "star" in the sky, usually the first one you see. You can tell it's a planet as it doesn't twinkle like stars do. I've read 20° north of venus but the degrees don't mean anything to me so that didn't help me at all. I know it makes no sense, but I think in feet and inches, so about 16" north. About 14" up from the horizon...but even that would depend on how high you are relative to the horizon... mountain vs. valley would be very different. It looks very much like the picture Fun posted, though much fainter. I had to try from a much darker area before I could see it with my naked eye. I managed to get in the shade of some trees which helps as the moon is full. If you can find your way into the shade, it'd be easier. Also spend some time at it. It takes about 20 min for your eyes to adjust completely to the darkness. I needed binoculars to find it. Once I knew where it was, I could faintly see it with my naked eye, but the binoculars really helped....See More- 13 years ago
