Berryberry finished kitchen
Comments (6)i've been looking at berryberrys backsplash. it's very pretty. her granite is similar. i'm not sure tile place carries it. DH won't wait for me to order something. got some samples today.tell me what you think: **this one has lighter stone: **this one has darker stone ** here they are side by side here's a pic of the kitchen with the floor then i would do diamond shape above. i think the stone on the left is too light (we put enhancer on it) but maybe it looks better when it's all together. the stone on the right is a bit dark. give me your honest opinion. i love the glass tiles, just wasn't sure if i was supposed to pull in any of the gray color of the counter....See MoreExpert questions about Benjamin Moore Aura satin / flat
Comments (4)Hi I just painted 5 rooms in my house with Aura matte paint. (tumeric, dijon, grasshopper, citrine and soleil). The paint is fabulous. I do not have roller marks at all and I definitely did some rerolling. The coverage was amazing. I used only a gallon per room (12 x 14, 12 x 18, 12 x 22). 2 coats gave me beautiful coverage and a flawless finish. This paint is so worth the extra money in terms of time and results. The recoat time of 1 hour meant I completed 1 room per day by doing 2 complete coats including cutting in. I was able to hang everything back up the same day without damage to the walls. The only downside is that it would have taken twice as much paint in any other company so I have extra cans of dijon and citrine. I guess I will hit my upstairs next week with the extra. The matte is beautiful. I have always used eggshell in the past and this finish glows....See MoreFor painted people: semi-gloss v. satin finishes? Decision time!
Comments (6)Gah. So I emailed this question to our cabinetmaker earlier today to see how he thought the satin finish would weather. Turns out the sample doors he gave us *are* in Aura satin! So...yah. Satin it is, since I don't want to go down to eggshell, and I *definitely* don't want anything glossier than that! We'll see! Thanks for the feedback. :)...See MoreLooking for Paint Color Suggestions for Victorian-Craftsman Style Home
Comments (0)We would appreciate any suggestions for helping us find a paint scheme/color combinations for our house. Eastern exposure. We have torn out all the landscaping and there is now a stone wall with tones of beige, gold and gray stone in front. We will be using Benjamin Moore Aura Paint. Thanks very much....See MoreRelated Professionals
