Has anyone seen tile like this?

I swear I saw it somewhere.. I am envisioning 3x6 subway tile in an antique white with some darker veining in it or some kind of uneven color to it so it looks old. I want it to look like glossy ceramic tile that is old.. I don't want stone or anything rough looking.

I can't think of a specific tile but I would try Pratt and Larsen, Winchester, maybe Fireclay?

That's it. I need to move. My house is an early 1900's Foursquare. And while I like my kitchen plan, I feel soo limited with my choices... seeing all that beautiful tile really reminded me of that!!

Determining why it is not draining seems to be an important step. If the framing it is attached to is sagging, that will have to be fixed whether you get new gutters or not. I would recommend you ask whoever you get to look at it to determine why that is and what they recommend. Don't just tell them you want new gutters. These may be fine and something else is going on.

If she wants a relatively organic option, spinosad is listed as killing thrips. She should spray every surface of the plants, including flowers/buds, the undersides of leaves, etc. Repeat 3 days later to kill the thrips that were eggs for the first spray or managed to hide. I would repeat again a few days later. Spinosad is a bit more broad-spectrum than most biologicals, so she should do it in the evening after the bees are finished.

Have you seen Complete Tile's Vermeere Ceramics? They have 316 colors in just this line.

What about 2x6 tile? We had already decided upon this size, and then during our demo, we found 2x6 "tile" anaglypta wallpaper in the kitchen. I felt like my choice was vindicated! (I have a 1910 foursquare).

Here's a link to what we're using. It's a crackle tile made by Walker Zanger. We went with Heirloom White, but there are several color options. And if you like it, shop around because we found prices from $16-32/sq ft.

ooh I do like that. I've been looking all over the net for ideas and was thinking changing up the size a bit might be a good idea. Glad to hear the 2x6 was around way back then!
