Actually, when you have to have a 4-year-licensed driver sitting beside you ... and can't drive on the freeway ... and not between midnight and 5 a.m. either ... ... somehow, one gets the feeling that one has arrived at one's second childhood! ole joyful

As I offer an occasional newsletter on personal financial management issues to clients and others interested, I was checking back through some old threads for matters that I might work on for a future message. When I got to page 8, I was quite surprised to find 5 of my threads in sequence. I have the opinion, rightly or wrongly, that I do not originate a lot of threads, so when, later on the same page, I found four more, I thought that very unusual. The first one on page 9 was one of mine, as well, so that made 2 sequences of five - most originally written at different times. There might be some egotism mixed in there somewhere - who knows? Maybe I just like the look of my name in print. And, as I often deal with rather serious issues, maybe I was just being frivolous. Is that allowed? Don't you get the feeling that life is just too darned serious, at times?? I hope that you have a happy and interesting start on your New Year. ole joyful

I would say that he is really busy tending his gardens-he is big into vegetables,and right now,everything is coming on hard and fast-he is south of me about 6 hours,so he is likely pretty busy starting to harvest some of his fruits. Also,he has to use the Library pc where he lives-maybe getting out in this heat after he is done in the garden is a little much for him

Another great experience just the other day ... was it while I was in hosp.? Don't remember. First word I tried "wares", as often do, or "swear". "R", third position, was green. "A", second, yellow: correct letter, wrong location. Wanted to try "a" at location 1, so what word would I need with "r" as third letter? Where did "acrid" come from ... sliding into my brain? Let's give it a try. First letter was green, also second, and third was green from the start ... and so were 4 and 5! Comment was something like "Magnificent"! And I was pleased with myself: was it once that I'd ever before got it on second try? Don't remember. By far the largest number of winners on the way to 93% success rate for me is the fourth try. ole joyful P.S. I've had a phone with multiple capabilities for just over four years, so do a lot of stuff using it. Having some problems, and the guys where I got it are trying to get me to pitch it and get a better one (pretty well same price). o j
