In this episode of Houzz TV Live, architect Sophie Nguyen gives a virtual tour of several spaces in her London home and talks about how she uses vibrant colors in architectural features to create joy and happiness. In a basement, which Nguyen added to her 19th century house by digging down and out, a bold red sculptural staircase energizes the mood. A courtyard extension off the basement and a glass floor in the upstairs kitchen and living area bring light into the basement.
