so pretty!

I guess nobody wants to post today, so here are two more from that same day. It was so pretty, but today is equally pretty in it's own way. Wall to wall sunshine, and 67 degrees.

I have been runing around like a fool for the past few days. We are finally home....but it will be the same thing this week.

A summer scene from my childhood...

oldgardener, love that picture, wish you would tell us more about it.

Ronm80, the picture I posted is from about 1960. I'm in the striped blue pants and my younger sister is next to me in the red striped pants. My dad is standing behind me, loved those hats men wore in those days, so jaunty.

My older brother is next to dad, then mom folding a table cloth, then my two oldest sisters on the right. That's my oldest brother on the left with the fishing pole. Two of my older sisters aren't in the picture but were nearby.

The tent was an old army tent my dad had. I remember it well, as we'd play in it at home. We'd all pile in my Dad's 1958 Chevy (or was it a Ford?) and drive to the beach as often as we could. I remember that old coffee pot on the far right side of the picture. Good old days. :)

Oldgardener, you are so right, those were the good old days...no cell phones or electronic games, etc to interupt honest to goodness family time. And, what a lovely family it is!
