NEED Good Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing recipe

Anyone have a great recipe???

The way I make it is very simple, but it's also my favorite. First I crumble the cheese in a bowl and mix it with fresh lemon juice, leaving large crumbles. Then I add freshly ground black pepper and a few grains of cayenne and then add enough mayonnaise to make it into a dressing. I do everything to taste, and so I do not have measurements. If it is too thick, I generally add a bit more lemon juice. You could substitute some sour cream for part of the mayo, but I do not usually do that. I also usually use Roquefort for the blue cheese.

My friend Joy that I worked with before I retired gave me this recipe. It's great.
Blue Cheese Dressing
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp dry yellow mustard
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt (scant)
1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 cups mayo
4 oz imported Danish Blue Cheese crumbled (you may leave some of the blue cheese out and add at the end for chunks)
Blend all ingredients but the blue cheese on low for 2 minutes
Add cheese blend 4 minutes more.
Refrigerate for 24 hours.

I made Slow-Cooker Dressing last year for Christmas, and again this year for our Canadian Thanksgiving. It's the "only" way I'll make it from now on. I always add cooked rice to my stuffing/dressing, as well. Slow-Cooker Stuffing/Dressing 1 cup butter or margarine 2 cups chopped onion 2 cups chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 12 cups dry bread cubes 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 4 1/2 cups chicken broth, or as needed 2 eggs, beaten Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion, celery, and parsley in butter, stirring frequently. Spoon cooked vegetables over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Season with poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, marjoram, and salt and pepper. Pour in enough broth to moisten, and mix in eggs. Spray slow-cooker with non-stick spray and transfer mixture to slow cooker. Cook on High for 45 minutes, then reduce heat to Low, and cook for 4 to 6 hours.

In all due respect, Ginger, if you leave out the anchovy then it isn't a Ceasar dressing. You might just as well (omigod!)leave out the garlic. So, whatever you're mixing up might be tasty. But it is not Ceasar. Most recipes calling for anchovy really do require them. You should not get an anchovy or fishy taste. If you do, you're using far too much. But there is a contribution made by the fish that you miss otherwise. This is as true for, say, Worchestershire sauce as it is for Ceasar dressing I've never quite gotten the hang of using anchovy paste, so almost always start with anchovy filets, which get mashed with a fork. It's a matter of personal taste, but I don't see the need for adding dairy products. And there's a world of taste difference, too, using freshly ground Parmesan vs. the green can. Classic Ceasar dressing was made by rubbing the bowl with the garlic cloves. But I don't know anyone who does it that way anymore. Personally, I just smash the garlic and add it in.

Nope I wouldn't add it either. This is Tami Ohio's recipe I've made it lots. I make this with chicken, but you could certainly use turkey. It's good! CHICKEN & STUFFING CASSEROLE Tami Ohio Serves about 4 4-5 cups chicken- cooked and removed from the bone ( about 4 boneless breasts) Break chicken up into pieces. If you are removing chicken from the bones, this is fine. Layer chicken pieces in bottom of dish. Combine: 1 c. milk 2 cans of cream of chicken soup - undiluted Stir together and pour over chicken Topping: 1 pkg. stuffing mix - cornbread or whatever flavor you prefer DO NOT mix according to box directions - follow these. Â½ stick melted butter or margarine 1 c. chicken broth Melt butter, mix dry stuffing mix into broth and butter. Spread over top of chicken mixture. If you use less chicken, use less soup and milk mixture, since you want it to make like a thick sauce. Stuffing will brown slightly on top. Bake uncovered for about 1 hour at 350Â° Recipe would be great for a large group and be easy to make. It takes less time if you cook the chicken the day before while cooking something else and refrigerate it. This makes the next dayÂs prep time quicker after work or for busy schedules. Add a salad or veggie and enjoy!

4 ounces Maytag blue cheese -- crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise
3 ounces about 1/3 cup milk or cream
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon onion -- freshly grated
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon horseradish
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix gently so as to leave some lumps and serve over a green salad or on sliced tomatoes or as a dip for raw veggies. Tastes better if you let the flavor develop overnight.

I'm going to try LindaC's recipe (I just KNEW there would be one!) only because this is for DH and I think he'd like the horseradish!!

Dressing is made and chillin' in the fridge.
DH can try it on his salad tonight. I don't do Blue so I'm not a good judge. I never like it, no matter how good it is! LOL
DH, however, loves the stuff and I don't make it for him very often because I can't taste it and adjust seasonings, etc.

That's why I needed a T&T recipe. I don't know why it took me so long to ask....
