Happy Monday! I got a lot done yesterday sorting, washing and storing blankets. Put away a ton of laundry and don't laugh - labeled the dresser drawers. I'm not anal by any means. Moving into our new home, without have the money at present to have all our storage units - things are going into totes, garbage bags under the bed. Poor DH hasn't got a clue where I'm putting half his clothes and I've redesigned my layout in my dressers - everything in this place, as I sort it and store it properly - is getting labeled for future storage units and in case we need something. Today I'm hitting the bathroom and tackling more of the bedroom - it's hard to sleep when it's out of sorts. This thread is inspiring - thank you too Alisande. Cheers, Peggy

I made the "Marlenetini" and liked this one too! I used the cherry vodka I had so plain vodka may be a little different as far as taste. I like the splash of Ginger Ale as it gives it some froth and I used the rest of the small can of pineapple & shook it all up. This filled up my martini glass along with some crushed ice. So, another keeper! I'll look for the small cans /bottles of cranberry juice to use with the one you posted. Here is what sounds like a good one to serve for summer parties & you could leave out the vodka. Just found this. From..countrydoor.com Strawberry Slush one 46 oz can pineapple juice one large can frozen lemonade, thawed 1 tablespoon almond extract four- 16 oz. pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed ( I would prob. put these in the blender a bit myself) one pint vodka (optional) Use a large bowl or an empty plastic ice cream pail. Mix all ingredients well. Put in container, cover, and freeze. Scoop slush into individual glasses and add 7-UP or Sprite.

Yup, I went to the doctor today, and he agreed that part of the thorn remains in my hand and should be removed. But he said it's sitting in the vicinity of a nerve and a tendon, so he would like to have an orthopedist do the procedure. When I got home I found they had made an appointment for meÂon Friday at 7:45 a.m.! That's rather early, don't you think? It's a 45 minute trip for me. I'll call tomorrow and see if I have other appointment options. By the way, I gave him the printout of the information that Lydia linked for me, and he was good about reading it and translating some of the medicalese. Thanks for thinking of me! Susan

I tried to sign in with my GW info, but that didn't work at all. I was told to go to Customer Service, which I couldn't find. So I somehow ended up at the regular Houzz register/sign-in, and started over. The name Alisande was taken (by me?), so I tried other names. MANY other names. Finally found one they'd take. Registration went okay, and then they said to check my email. No email. Got a long box on my screen that said, "Please confirm your email. Check your inbox for our message. Can't find it? Click here." I clicked and checked. Clicked and checked again. Not in Inbox nor Spam folder. I can post, etc., but long box with message remains on my screen. I contacted Houzz about this, so we'll see what happens.
