What brand do you use? I like Aveeno anti-itch for my

dry winter skin.

I always seem to go back to Lubriderm...but I supplement that with olive or almond oil.

I love Palmers Cocoa Butter - it smells so good. ALso just bought a Kiss My Face lotion. It's honey and something else I can't remember. I really like it. Smells just like honey.

Shauna, thanks for mentioning the "Gardener's Clean" waterless hand scrub. I'll have to keep an eye for it. What I use for a hand lotion is Herbacin Kamille. I find it works really at replenishing the moisture loss. Then to help heal cuts I use Aloe Vera gel, it helps speed up how long it takes for cuts and nicks to heal. For bug spray I usually use whatever has a high concentration of deet. I did find that Watkins sells a bug repellant that is a lotion and it works well. I usually use that one on my face as it smell like body lotion. A nicer than the stench of bug spray. Oh I also have a bottle called Marigold Horse Spray made by EQyss grooming products. There is no deet or chemicals in it so I can use it on the dogs. It smells nice too and seems to last fairly long. Syreeta

Best body lotion?

Someone mentioned Coconut Lime verbena above. That scent is wonderful and they use to make a lotion called "Silk" by Body works, but no more. That stuff made your skin feel just like silk, and gave a glow too, I promise. Wish they would bring it back. I use to take baths rather than showers back in the day. And I used Skin so Soft by Avon to put into my bath, another silky skin product. ....Jane

Bath and body lotions, scents?

I also have to be careful with scents. They not only make me have a headache but my eyes itch and sometimes I will break out in hives. From Bath and Body Works, I can use Moonlight Path - a light lavendar scent. I also like White Citrus. Anything like the musk scents (Sensual Amber, even though I like the smell of it) will make my eyes itch with in a few minutes. I recently have been on a search for a new scent in lotion or bath powder since I can't wear the perfumes. I found one I really liked but hubs didn't care for it. It was Cashemere by Donna Karan. I can't describe it but I put some of the lotion on and it didn't bother me in the least bit and the scent lasted. I ended up with the lotion for the fragrance Beautiful since I had worn the perfume years ago when I still could and l liked it. Hubs liked it but not the price! Oh well, it goes under the Christmas tree so it made it happy - less shopping for him on his own. Put some of the ones you think you may like on the little cards they have at the counters and lay them on your dresser. See which ones you can tolerate. As I said, the Moonlight Path at B&BW is the best day to day one for me. The body spray is too much but the lotion is good.

How do I clean oily body lotion off of matte finish bathroom wall?
Q

It’s not just the matte finish in this case, it’s the Aura. I know because I have it all over my house in satin & semi-gloss. It’s impossible to scrub stuff off of it, doesn’t matter whether it’s something that’s normally hard to remove or not. The Valspar I put up myself in my old house w/ no prior painting experience was way better than this overrated BM paint.

I've used everything mentioned here. LOL! Lately I've been buttering up with Shea Body Butter by Tree Hut. Made from Coconut and Lime Extracts. Smells soooo good, you could eat it. I bought it at Wal-Mart.

My latest lotion addiction is actually Grant's lotion. I use Burts Bee's baby sensitive skin lotion. I love it. It's a thin lotion, not greasy or oily and feels so silky and smells good too.

Gayle, have you tried the Tree Hut body wash from Wal-Mart? I love it--used it this morning.

During the winter I get terribly itchy skin on my back. Last year I got an apothecary (forgot the name of it) lotion at Bath and Body works. It is wonderful! So soothing.

Last week I got a sample tube of McBlooms foot cream. Love that stuff. Does anybody use that? There's not a retailer around where I live.

My brother is a part time masseuse. Last year he gave me some lotion that he likes to use. It's called Seven Wonders Miracle Lotion. It's paraben free and it has such a clean smell to it. I wasn't able to find any locally, so I went to the internet and bought several bottles of it. I highly recommend it.
