Help! need interior trim color tomorrow off white suggestions?
Comments (4)We have SW moderate white trim with whole wheat. I love it. Really gives a warm feel. Our windows are white and I put up white wood blinds. Next to ceiling our crown blends in. If you stare at it you will see the difference but not noticeable. I can send you some pictures against my white windows and ceiling....See MoreWhat white interior trim color for my white vinyl windows++
Comments (4)Did you mean BM white dove?? I am not sure I know the color white down, but if it IS White Dove. I think the difference will be insignificant if you use it but will have a warmer look depending on the lighting. I have White dove everywhere and my kitchen cabinets, in fact, are a stark white. I would never try to match the white, IMO I would always go a bit creamier or softer. I tell people that white dove is like a white with the 'bite' taken out of it and does not look yellow to me at all, just soft. In my darkest rooms, however, it does look a little more to the putty gray side in certain lights, nonetheless, still a white.Good luck...See Morebeige vinyl windows (cwd) interior trim??? help!!
Comments (7)Carly, Over in the Home Decorating Forum they've had lots of discussions about stained wood windows and doors with white or painted trim and vis versa. I don't see why you can't have beige windows and white trim. If that doesn't do it for you, it is possible to paint vinyl so you could paint the interior white and leave the outside beige. Here are pictures: By the way, I am thinking of having beige or tan windows with white or off white painted trim, so I wanted to get a feel for how they would look, too. I think it looks good! Comments (23)I would love something like shoji white but I’m not sure how that would Look against the almond. I'll take working with almond over stark white windows any day - so much easier. Can tell you how I deal with them. "Almond" is not the same color brand to brand so we measure the color of the windows. We use a Spectro 1 Pro, but a more affordable Color Muse works too. Settings in the app have to be Illuminant D65, 2 degree observer. One of the windows in the app will give you the hue angle of the Almond color. Then it's just a matter of finding colors in the same hue angle range. If you do that, post back with the hue angle and I can post a list of colors that fit. A color like Shoji is definitely possible, just need to make sure it aligns - relates correctly - with the Almond....See Morevinylwindowguy
