I'm going to be getting a new front door and am undecided on color. My current door and shutters have been burgundy for almost 20 years. I'm ready for a change but don't know what color to choose. I have brick on the front of my house that has a pink tone to it and my siding is Wolverine Clay color. I'll be switching from a double door to a single door with two side lites. I wouldn't let the neighbor's door stop me. Lots of people have red doors. If you don't get responses here, try posting on the Home Decorating forum.

The yellow is pretty. Another option that works well with the gray and black is a raspberry color like SW Cerise. A dusty plum can be pretty as well. This is SW Plum Dandy.

I like the blue examples that @houssaon shared, but look at colors you love. Also consider if those 3 posts are necessary or not, or could they be reduced to one that is thicker? Could the lower half of the wall on the left be painted the color of your house trim to brighten up the entry area? And could those gutter spouts be repositioned better for both drainage and appearance? A fun project area and will be real nice when you're done.
