Thanks again friends. As for the dinner, it wasn't good. It was a super large Asian buffet! The food on the hot bar did not taste fresh and was not hot. A lot of the chicken items were chewy, like they had been sitting there too long. The tempura was cold and rubbery. The sushi bar was huge but some of the Edomae-sushi was scary. The only saving item was the Peking Duck; I saw it as it came out of the kitchen. It was better than most and reminded me of what I had at the Peking Duck House in NY.

You all won't believe the surprise birthday party my fellow pigeons gave me tonight! How wonderful to have this experience since I haven't had a birthday party since I was 16. I was given gifts, hugs, music, cake, and best of all, the company of some pretty darn wonderful friends...Peppi, Karen, Sherry, David, Linda, Nancy, and May. Yea Me! All of your wished have added to this very nice day. *I told Jessy some time ago not to post my birthday on the forum because I don't do Bdays for myself. Turns out that this has been in the works for several weeks because Karen knew when my bday was.

How precious your birthday wish are and very appreciated...especially since I forgot until I came here to check in.

Teresa, I'll be at the ballpark all day and they better treat me like a queen because I got too much flack yesterday!

Claire de Luna and I are celebrating our birthdays together tomorrow (her bday is the 9th); Raymond and I are joining them for a few days at Sanibel Island. Now how special is that!!

Sanibel Island. That's where Janet and Larry used to go, I believe. I still have some shells she sent Ashley from there.

Happy Birthday Cathy, from Sanibel Island! Don't forget to take some time out from your busy schedule to celebrate on this day, even though we'll be celebrating together, IN PERSON very soon! Yes, we are having a great time and our DH's have been talking non-stop! The weather is spectacular and the beach is more beautiful than I have seen in some time. The shells are plentiful.
