How much does your 3 month old weigh?

Just curious how much your 3 month olds weigh. Taylor weighs 12.5 pounds and I just wondered if this was in the same range as other babies her age.

My Taylor is a boy and will be 3 months old on Jan 26, he weighs a little under 11lbs.

My DS was 3 months on the 17th of January and he weighs 14lbs. He is a little bruiser though, I'm sure you are right on target with your little one. Babies come in as many shapes and sizes as adults.

Welcome to the forum. You have been reading some very old posts. Bestlawn has been missing from the forum for about five years. In any case, we miss her and I will let her know that the heavens parted and you have seen the light. Please name the town you live in in SoCal. I grew up in Riverside, went to school in Pomona, worked in Downey and Hawthorne, and had relatives in Los Angeles (the real Los Angeles), Stanton, Palm Desert, and Indio. Sometimes I can help with details that most people would not be aware of. I would wait a few weeks for the soil to dry out before making judgements about the soil. One thing you might do is to apply a thin layer of compost. Let's see, if you have 400 square feet then 1/2 yard of compost is all you need. Normally I would say that mowing the grass that short might result in seeing the yellowish blades, but that grass is a dwarf variety and should not show yellow. How do you know you had a grub problem and which insecticide did you use?

My new HP with vista slowed down and would freeze up after I loaded on Zone Alarm...I totally removed all signs of Norton..still slow...I would have to power off just to shut down computer or get to a new program. I was loosing icons..and programs...and then they would mysteriously return...only to disappear again...whole computer became very unstable.. Third call to the Costco Techs(luckily that's where I bought this computer)had me do a system restore with them on the phone holding my hand...this restore took be back to supposed "out of the box" factory condition... But I swear this "out of the box" was somehow different from when I first turned on the machine...I am wondering if this was a returned computer that someone had previously "dinked" with....anyway I very slowly and very methodically added back my bookmarks, favorites and email addresses using Windows email not outlook...and reinstalled router, printer, mouse, and external HD software. I logged each thing I did to this machine and each time checked speed...internet was good and holding...I downloaded and installed AVG freebie ..got rid of Norton trial that came with the HP...absolutely no more Zone Alarm..although it was great with my XP machine...then I loaded on program software like Office, Quicken, Quickbooks, and Turbo Tax. Cross my fingers...everything seems to be running ok..and as fast as my XP computer.

How much does a cup of flour weigh?

There isn't a standard weight measure for a cup of flour, and you will find the number varies depending on the "expert", book, or reference - all the way from 4 to 5 (or more) ounces. It also changes with the type of flour (all-purpose, whole wheat, etc.). As an example, The King Arthur Flour 200th Anniversary Cookbook recipes are written for 4-ounce (by weight) cups of flour (page 115). Another well-respected author, Jeffrey Hamelman, in his book, "BREAD A Baker's Book of Techniques and Recipes" uses a 4.8-ounce "cup". Zojirushi used 3-1/2-ounces for a weight measure for 1-cup whole wheat flour..... Measuring by the cup isn't any better because people fill the cup differently and can get as little as 4-ounces and as much as 5-1/2 ounces packed into a cup. If you are making yeast or naturally-leavened breads, exact measures for flour aren't necessary because of the variables in flour. The gluten content (which soaks up the hydration) will be different from bag-to-bag, and brand to brand. Flour that has been stored in the paper bag in a humid environment will also absorb moisture from the air, so that can alter the amount needed in a bread. That's why breads are generally "by feel" and measurements for flour in recipes are just a good guess. -Grainlady

Painted white cabinets- how much wear and tear after 3 months?

Mine are white, and we have been living with them about three months. I don't have the issues you do from daily wear. I had an issue when we moved in when one of the last trades (not sure who) in the house before we moved back had made some long, deep gouges across the cab panel short end of the island. The gouges didn't damage the paint, strangely enough, but you could see it the indentations. Our painters had to come back and paint the pantry door and trim near the island so they bondo-ed the damage and re-painted it along with everything else. On the cleanup sink base, the caulk where the shaker moulding meets the flat panel is ripping apart. I don't know why. I don't spill water on the cabs at the sink so it's not from water damage. Maybe it's the weight of the sink itself? Not sure. No visible dings in the paint yet, despite two young and active kids and three young and psycho cats. No paint wearing off anywhere. My cabs are custom and were only painted with BM Satin Impervo without any type of protection over that. Do you have some pictures of the damage you could post? I was worried about not having a baked on factory finish! I'm sorry you're experiencing this.

My son won't be 3 months till Feb 7 (a little over two weeks from now). At his 2 month check on Jan 8th he weighed 12lbs 14oz and I know he has packed on some weight since then. He was 23 1/2 inches long as well. He is considered 75th percentile for height and weight for boys.

Leila was three months old on Jan. 11th. She doesn't have a doctor's appointment until the 28th, but I tried to weigh her myself the other day, and I think she's around 13 pounds.

phoebe will be 3 months on Feb. 6 and we had her weighed today. she weighed in at 10lbs. 9oz. she is considered 50% of other babies:)

Sara was 3 months on Jan. 17th and she weighs 15lbs. and about 3 or 4 oz. She is a tall one though and obviously very healthy;)

Liam turned two months on January 10th and had his most recent doctor's visit that day.

He weighed in at 13.4 lbs. and 24 inches! (Of course he was born at 9lbs 5oz.) I'm sure he'll be pushing 15 if not more by 3 months on Feb. 10th. He's really not that chubby though, just solid. He's very broad chested with musclely arms. I think I'm raising (and feeding) a potential line-backer!

My DD will be 3 months on the 30th and at her last visit (on the 10th) she was at 11.2 lbs. She's growing slowly considering she was 7.10 at birth.

Elsa was 8lbs 1oz at birth, then she was weighed at 1 week because she wasn't nursing well and was 7lbs 10oz, then again at 2 weeks she was 8 lbs even, then at 6 weeks we had to take her to the hospital and she was 11lbs 2oz fully clothed, and then at her 2m appt she was 11lb 12oz. I swear she is at least 15 lbs by now. She will be 4m on the 27th of this month. She is a little bruiser...she is chubby everywhere but most of it is in her cheeks...they literally hang off her face, the little punkin.

my dd at 6.5 months weighed only 15.9 lbs. She's a tiny thing but the dr assured me she was at 50%.

My son will be 8 weeks this week and he is 14 lbs, but my daughter was only 14 lbs at 4-5 months.
