Uh, Cheryl, I have iris (Hello, my name is Sylvia, & I have iris.) I have an extra Well-Endowed (chrome yellow ruffled re-bloomer), some Anxious (smoky lavender ruffled re-bloomer), Crimson King (very early/re-bloomer, historic dark red-purple), "backhoe" iris (photo on Part Deux), yet another rescue that I ain't even told y'all about, I need to run by the place I got it & see if any have bloomed over there to see what the flowers look like, tons of historic yellows, at least one lavender/blue ruffled, & Cinnamon Girl. You can have one, some, or one or two of each. I'd love some acorn squash & another rose, Belinda's Dream if possible but it doesn't matter, so if Weldon wants it that's okay; I have tons of space here, & can put in a Belinda's Dream later (when Miss Venessa has time to root one for me, snork!). any of that tickle your fancy???

Laundry is not only done, but put away. There is food in the freezer to be POOFed. Can't do much outside, because it's too dang cold and the ground is wet. My big old kitchen table that I'm getting rid of is still in the way in the studio/junk dump so that mess can't be cleaned up. DH and his helper are still tracking stuff into the house so why sweep the floors? It's going to be cold and rainy, so why clean the windows? The birds (an amazing variety) have food..must refill the suet feeders..and can be watched through my dirty dining room window. I think I'm going to switch back and forth from bird watching and reading. Maybe I'll bake an apple pie..though we don't need one.

I've been trying to get my friend's income tax return returned to her for signing, then to drop off at the tax office, to save postage, but rearrangements regarding her daughter's arrival from the west coast interfered ... and I'd done it wrongly, so had to do it over today. I have two to do for another friend ... and my own to do, as well ... so I'll be busy. I think that my last year's return isn't in the place that it's supposed to be ... so expect to need to go digging for it. I arranged affairs to pay about 9% last year, but suspect that it'll be some higher, this year. Wish me good skill in my calculations, folks, please! Better than for my friend: I'd neglected to add senior's low-income supplement, which caused slight reduction in some credits, but isn't taxed itself. ole joyful

I watered my tomato plants this morning and one of my flower beds. Cleaned the kitchen really well today. Washed all the dishes in the dishwasher. Took a good 2 hour nap then played on the computer. I've taken my shower and am dressed for bed. Will get up and water some more in the morning then to church. We will pick up some fried chicken for lunch. The son is preparing Father's day dinner Sunday at 6:30. I'm really looking forward to his grilling, he is a great cook. I'm taking potato salad and comeback salad dressing. That should about finish the weekend.
