OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. She's a beautiful girl, you've been taking good care of her. I'm feeling the need for a pet again now that we don't have the never-knowing responsibility of my mother where we'd drop what we were doing and get on the freeway not quite knowing if overnight or even longer. My neighbor is here with his two havanese right now. They are adorable, although I didn't have a small dog in mind. More like cat (s), or larger breed dog. Happy Birthday, Pretty. Was she really an April Fool's baby?

LOL you guys!

Chase - you had me wondering for a minute. I thought, How does she know if my husband is hunky or not? Then I remembered ... oh yeah, you've met him before. LOL! (During pregnancy, memory is the first thing to go .. and never comes back)

I actually got TWO cakes! One was a scrumptious chocolate bundt cake with some kind of high-octane crazy chocolate filling in the center that my mom had shipped from home. Then I went to choir practice and not only had more cake there, but they sang to me twice. LOL David drew me a lovely birthday picture and DH got me flowers with a cute little bird thingie in it - David's reaction was hilarious. He said, "Look, dad brought us a bird with flowers in it!" The kids both enjoyed playing "She loves me/she loves me not" with the daisy petals. : /
