I know everyone already knows this, but everyone's monitor shows color differently. Virtual paint colors are just loose represtations of in-real-life paint colors. Chips in hand while viewing a virtual paint color is the best way to preview the color. It also helps to remove colorful elements around your monitor and to dim down lighting while previewing virtuals.

Wow, i really think i like the black french doors. I really wanted to see this because once i paint those doors, they will never be in their natural state again. And, i said that the small sets of french doors were cypress, but they are actually spanish cedar. the front door is old pecked cypress.

the bennington gray kind of has that pinkish tint to it too. i like that. i have never had my home done with cool colors. thats why i was looking at the 'king arthurs court'. does the bennington gray have that pinkish tone on your monitor too? maybe i'm not seeing it correctly because i'm checking this all out on my laptop right now. i will have to see it on my calibrated desktop monitor.

What a beautiful house! I'm posting a picture of my house, painted in Bennington Grey. It's a little hard to get an idea of the color because it's in shade, but maybe this will help. At the back of the house, which as a southern exposure, it looks quite light. I really love the color.

What's labeled as Bennington Gray up there is King Arthur's Court - and it is a pinkier beige.

I like the french doors black too, especially since you have a set on each side of the main entrance -- could look very cool.

once again, thank you so very much! there is no way that i was going to be able to do this. i wish i were so skilled using PSCS. I am constantly redecorating something and being able to do this would be awesome.

Not that you asked, but... I really like Bennington Gray with white-white columns/trim, black shutters and fr. doors, and the cypress entry. Lovely color combination. Only possible negative, other than it not being appealing to you, is that it could be thought of as a rather average exterior color scheme. A pinky beige could be a little more unique.

funcolors-are you kidding? i definitely value your opinion. Thanks, and actually i am considering the bennington gray as the first choice now. I think it is beautiful too. i find it a "harmonious color scheme". Believe me, between the kitchen that i just finished and my very colorful backyard, i need something a bit toned down. i am working on my backyard too at the moment trying to find something to blend better with my pool water and waterline tiles. the bennington gray goes so well with the fabrics that i am considering for my outdoor furniture, umbrellas, etc... my pool tiles are that greenish-spa color. i am looking at fabrics in the blue/green, browns, and tan tones. i have brick red back there now mixed with the yellow shade that i have on the front of the house now. i did this **i think** to blend with the red brick coping and red accent tiles on my pool. what was i thinking? i had too much going on at the time. you can check out my photobucket if you like. i have lots of pics of the backyard and new kitchen. you will see how much color my life already has in it. the bennington gray will be a nice change on the front exterior and rear exterior. thanks so much for your work. and by the way, i copied my house photos that you did over to my photobucket page. i hope you don't mind.
