No...if you can take them back...do that.
I only buy 100% aluminum baking sheets....they don't warp and cook very well and evenly and any stains are easily removed with a sope filled scouring pad. Aluminized steel is not as good a conductor of heat as all aluminum....And aluminum is a lot cheaper...I paid $6 for mine.

I'd return them, not because of the scrathing and stains (because you'll get that with aluminum regardless), but because of the warping. True commercial sheets should not do that.

All my baking sheets come from restaurant supply houses, and I've never had one warp. Unfortunately, a company can call just about anything "commercial" these days.

I'd return them too. I bought half sheet Lincoln aluminum baking sheets for $7 each at my local restaurant supply store and they've never warped even under the broiler. If you have a commercial supply house in town, I'd go there first, they usually don't have a problem selling to the public and it's SO MUCH FUN to wander up and down the aisles!

I have a Cuisinart sheet pan that warps - drives me nuts everytime I hear that ping when it gets hot in the oven. I don't know why I keep using it :). Sometimes it warps when I take it out of the oven, I must be removing it just when it hits that "warp now" temp. Return yours.

The ones I have, I got at Sam's Club a few years ago. They do not warp and clean up very easily. They were made by Polare Ware or so it says on them ;-). I purchased 4 and they look almost new.

I also have 1/4 sheet pans I bought at Williams Sanoma that have held up extremely well - very heavy, no warping but they don't clean up as easily as the cheaper ones.

I'd return the ones you got at Costco, definitely tell them why as well

Sooz....I can't add anything to your question but you took me back to my childhood when you mentioned Bon Ami! On my goodness....I didn't realize it was still around.

Now let's see.....do they still make Old Dutch Cleanser ????LOL. That's what we used along with Rinso soap from a box and Lux soap flakes.

I don't know if they still make Old Dutch Cleanser etc because I never look for it... always look for Bon Ami (love it!). I also like and use "20 Mule Team Borax." :O)

I am pretty sure that the old Dutch Cleanser is still around. We just got done making another batch of the homemade laundry soap and it uses the borax, washing soda and bar soap. I lucked out and my mil was given a box of old lye soap, she gave some to me to use as decorations, I put it in the processor and use it as part of the homemade mix. It cleans our clothes so much better and smells so nice.

Me I prefer barkeepers friend for cleaning, bun Bon ami, hasn't scratched yet.

We were curious about Old Dutch Cleanser; it was one of the most recognizable trademarks of the early 20th century consumer product era.
Old Dutch, along with Comet and Bon Ami, was one of the big brands of pumice-based kitchen cleaners; its railcars were even featured on Tyco and Lionel trains as late as the 1970s.
But the product is nowhere to be found on the web. And the empty can we threw away after we took the picture of it last week was NO help, though we THINK we got it at a dollar store.
A bit of Old Dutch history. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a trademark for Old Dutch was filed September 15, 1905 and registered March 27, 1906. The whole trademark is "Old Dutch Cleanser chases dirt, makes everything spick and span."
