What a great motivator Syd gave me.....

LOL tonight she is having to friends over for the night (they don't have school tomorrow) so that means I have to get on the ball and get the house back to order since I don't want her embrassed.....now if only Tanner don't ask for friends over tonight cuz I will let him and 3 teenage girls will be enough (and Syds boyfriend for a while) maybe Tan will be content to skateboard with Cody and not have any extras LOL Stacy

i'd rather have the kids at my house than somewhere i had no control...the few times i "let" dd2 out, it seemed she always caused me grief in hs...

then they wonder why moms are always the first to grey, lol...

now she has her own two babies to worry about...

Susan, I have one like that. Just about the time I think I can relax and not worry about her or her kids, she hits me with another stressful situation. I'm trying to keep my nose out of her business, but I worry about the kids. So, I gotta keep the peace with her.

Hi Teach !! Just wanted to ask. Did the kids commission that or did one of the parents find it by accident? So happy --you are happy !! Teachers, parents, clergy. All so very important in our lives. My "fav" teacher died 3 weeks ago. I had her in the 11th grade. She was 85 when she died. You would not believe the outpouring of love from her 25 years of students. She brought every book we read to life with her knowledge and enthusiasm. The Scarlet Letter never had such a good Hester !! Congrats and I know you will have bright and fun students next year, as your personality will bring out the best in them. Cece

Tuberose! That's it! Now I can tell the folks who work there what it is - I'm sure there will be drivers asking about it (it's so unusual!) I should have clarified earlier that the folks at the truckstop are willing to take "starts" that could be stuck in one of the pots with the other plants. Anything that you think could live in a pot over the winter. The "hut" is the one marked "idleaire" over in the far end of the parking lot.

Well here we are 6/20 and the Great White is looking MIGHTY AWESOME indeed. I planted it very deeply in a compost-rich mix. We've had LOTS of rain, and the plant has certainly woken up and exploded with new color and growth. It has buds but no open flowers yet, and so is behind my other plants which are all fruiting now. Sunnyk - I can save some seeds for you if you like. I think this experiment is going to pan out.

Sweet pics... Is Syd excited about going off to college Stacy? She is just 3 hours away so that is not too bad... same as my grandaughter Candace.... I think that is a good thing for the first year anyway... just call me "nervous nellie" LOL.. Not to rush the season or anything..but I am looking forward to Thanksgiving when she'll be home for a bit, bet you will too. june

LOL well it sounded good this morning her motivation...but it hasn't worked so well lol I just keep sitting around now I have put a time limit on it cuz I know what time they will be home from school. So far Sye nor Tan has ever given us reason to not trust them...I pray it continues...Stacy

I miss all the kids coming to our house. I love it when they were teenagers! I actually enjoyed all the stages of the kids growing up.

I have a different kind of Motivation. My BF and her husband are coming for a visit Saturday. She's a clean freak. Gotta clean windows and refrigerator. They haven't been cleaned since she was here last. LOL!
