it sounds like you have an infection of one of the variations of the antivirusxp type, they are not true MS security center warnings they mimic them to get you to click on them. You need to get and run malwarebytes right away, you may need to go to one of the support forums if this is what it is to finish the cleaning, please do this please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop. * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan. * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. * When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt * Please post contents of that file in your next reply. If you are unable to connect to that site let me know this infection type blocks many security sites and programs from running.

Whew! It took a bit of time but I finally finished downloading all the images, files, and web pages. For those who may not know it, in IE: RIGHT CLICK on the image and go to "Save Target As" to download the pdf file without having to open it. Repeat for "Save Image As" to save the image. Hazelnutbunny, I'll get that address off to you this evening. You'll do fine with the points. Some directions are easier than others to get them to line up well. Many times, when I have a lot of triangles to do, I modify the pattern from working with little triangles, to using two squares, and seaming them down the middle and cutting off the waste to use later in a scrappy. Those bias seams are doosies. I also starch bias seams before I sew them and handle them carefully now. I was amazed at the play in them and always wondered why my triangles were out of shape and my points off. I'm still working on it too! I also have to make a fabric run for this one, but thank goodness for fat quarters!
