folders for desktop ....how to?

How do you make folders for desktop? I have icons scattered all over my screen and want to consolidate them into folders. I can't see my GDs faces anymore...LOL!

Right click on the desktop. Choose New and then Folder from the menu. Name it whatever you want. Then drag and drop your files into the folder.

If you have windows xp,,,you right click on your desktop,,a box will pop up and NEW is listed. Click on new and find NEW FOLDER,,,it will pop up on your desktop. Just drag your stuff into those. Good luck!

Not sure I understand what you want, but the one thing I missed from the version before W 7 was the quick launch. I found a solution you might be interested in. I went to my documents and put all of my game short cuts in a folder named games. Then I right clicked on the task bar, then on new tool bar and followed the path to the games folder I made. Now I have another version of the quick launch. I did the same with a folder named tools with the shortcuts I use often.

Sounds to me like you need a new mouse, but go to the control panel and double click on the mouse icon. Check the settings and if they look right then click on the hardware tab and see if it says the mouse is operating properly. If so click on troubleshoot and go through the trobleshooting wizard to see if it helps. If not, a new mouse is not expensive.
