To save your images to My pictures if the image is inserted into the email simply right click on each and then 'save as...' A window will appear and by default should point to your My pictures folder. Either click to save or change the name first and save but do not change the suffix (jpg or bmp or whatever) If your images come attached simply right click on one in the space below the address bar where you will see them listed and then save as.... or save all if there are more than one and you want them all. Right click on the star just above this post and you will get the idea.

LL, 95% of my music is in mp3 format and some are left in the reg, they all play when they are in itunes folder. You don't have to convert them I did because I put them on an IPod and because I would burn them to a cd for the car and I could get 22 songs on the CD instead of 10 or 12. I convert them to MP3 by using Roxio, but other software will do it also. I make a playlist in Itunes...under file, "new",name it, then copy and past the songs from my music folders to the playlists in ITunes. It may take some practice. I have a playlist for my favorite songs. When I hear one I really like, I copy and paste it in favorites. It will then be in my favorites and in songs. If I had it to do over I would copy and paste them straight to the playlist and they automatically goes to "songs". I had a lot of duplicates leaning how to do this. If I want to listen to one particular singer or all songs I click on the right option and I set the controls to random. You can delete any songs from the playlists. It will ask "from the computer or just the folder". I would suggest when you get this set up like you want it back the music folders so you don't have to do this all again. If you buy a new computer and need to install Itunes again it will/should install with your folders just like they were. Aren't computers wonderful? I don't travel any more and don't need an ipod so I bought a radio with an ipod dock and can listen to a thousand songs in random if I want. The radio is a Memorex and sounds as good as my Bose. Very nice. I love music, I call it therapy for the soul. My taste in music has changed over the years, I love some of all music.

Have you looked into items and spaces that will make life easier once you move in? Such as shelves in the laundry room, where you'll put the kitchen garbage pail, etc. I wanted to dwell on this point a little more, too. That you should focus on setting up the INFRASTRUCTURE you will need. I love infrastructure--we often ignore it, esp. stuff like shelving, etc. Be sure you have hooks for brooms, enough shelves int he closets (in any closet w/ shelves, seriously consider adding ONE MORE shelf) Then, you can decide what you want to put there. "Gumball Rally" is what I thought it was.And that's a great philosophy for lots of situations. Gloria, we're contemplating a move down the block, and my DH was saying "no need to pay movers except for the piano and the couch; we can just carry it down." Over my dead body! We've got 2 kids, and 4 people's worth of stuff. Last time we moved, I nearly killed one of his friends (who was helping us but wouldn't listen to me) out of frustration. I told DH then, we are never moving ourselves again. It is just TOO HARD. And, that same friend moved, w/ DH helping, and he packed some, moved some, etc. It's VERY inefficient. MUCH more efficient to pack everything, truck it over in ONE trip (get as big a truck as you need), and then unpack. I suppose 4 doors away doesn't require a truck, but it'll use a handcart, and major packing. I've really learned mylesson from watching those friends. Pack everything before you move ANYthing.

The fact is Ekcs I dont think there is a right answer. My daughters father commited suicide two days before her second birthday. He dropped her off with his mom saying he would be right back and jumped off of a bridge. My daughter is close to her grandmother (her fathers mother) and remembers her father through what others say. And to be perfectly honest there is a part of me that every day I have to bury deep down that is so angry and pissed off that he took the easy way out and yet all anyone ever says about him are good and wonderful things. It makes me mad when my daughter randomly talks about how she wants to go to heaven to see her father or how much she loves him... it makes me mad when I have had a day from h*ll and my daughter has been in rare form and I think I am at my wits end and I realize I cant call her father to 'be the dad'... I am pissed off that this man that people only seem to want to honor his memory couldnt man up to his responsibilities and I am stuck raising a little girl on my own. I am pissed off that he put anything that awful into her perfectly innocent world at such an early age. And dear god, it pisses me off thinking he looked at that little girls smiling face and still in all essence walked away. That said, I love my daughter with all of my heart and never ever ever would I tell her or express any of this to her. I have never lied about him to her ... I have curbed the harsh truth in adjunct to her age... ie she is four she doesnt undrstand suicide but she does understand he chose to not be alive anymore but he loved her with all of his heart when he was here with her. I will never lie to her about him... when she is old enough she will know the full truth, see the newpaper article and the obituary. I understand your exasperation... it doesnt deter your love for your ss... it just shows how much you do love him... after all, I have thought I didnt sign up to be a mom to a daughter whose father killed himself (I understand the irrational thought in this but it doesnt change the desperation or the feeling) Our feelings dont go away and the almost hatred that we feel for that person that would dare cause this kind of pain and hardship because of their own selfish behaviors doesnt change only our reactions to it. Very few people know how I truly feel about this subject because I know that it sounds horrible ... but just as you can say I love my ss and I didnt sign up for this in the same sentence... I can say that this kind of feeling is perfectly normal I have felt it in those moments of pure exasperation towards my own daughter and situation. The only true and honest piece of advice I can give you or myself is to take it one day at a time one moment at a time... and always when you feel that desperate angry sad feeling coming along the path take a deep breath and take a few minutes if you need too... let him honor what he wants to honor... I let my daughter do so... but as I said I make it a point to never lie to her I wont carry her father's sins for him... I am never cruel or harsh but I wont lie or cover up for him either... I know it will be harder down the path and I am desperately afraid she will blame herself in some way... and I know it will be all the more tough ... but in reality the only way to change my situation would be to not have my daugher and that wouldnt even be close to an option in a million years. And, somehow, I think you feel the same.
