Bottom Round Roast Help

I have frequented this forum when I saw a discussion about cooking bottom round roasts. Using the search, I can't really find what I think I read. Can someone give me the consensus of what is the best way to cook it to achieve a medium rare result? It is small, about 2 pounds, since it is just for me with, I hope, leftovers that will provide sandwiches and whatever strikes my fancy. Thank for any help!
