Love the yard, I think you are right. I'm not having any problem getting out of a post. A recent problem is the thread title does not change color to show it has been read. I inquired to the Gardenweb staff about it and this is what they said: "Visited links are your web browser's way of being helpful, displaying a different color so as to let you know that you have clicked on that link before. Unfortunately, this isn't something GardenWeb controls. I would guess the changed colors likely disappear when you close your web browser, clearing the temporary cookie files that save your browsing info. You may be able to adjust your web settings to make sure they won't clear your cookies upon closing your browser." I'm waiting for my son to come over and reconfigure my settings. He spoils me in that I don't have to figure out how to do it.

My internet is so slow, it takes two minutes, just for me to click on a post and for me to be able to get to read it and then to post if I want, even longer. Some days it takes even longer. When it dries out, maybe it will get better. :( Sue

Clutter is an interesting thing. If there's just stuff--mail, utensil pot, scale, bread basket, vitamins, shitake snacks, labeller, masking tape, measuring tape, etc., I can clean a space and cook/bake, leaving the detritus--and while I often spatter on me (yes, I have aprons), I'm pretty good about not getting it on the clutter (but I do clean immediately if I do). If there's kitchen mess, however, or dirty dishes, I have to clean it all before I start, even if it's on the other side of the room. But then, I find clutter inspiring. When I clean my studio and tidy everything away, the first thing I do is pull out supplies for a project or inspiration. I can't create in too tidy a space unless it's food. :)

Do you have a box in the upper left-hand corner that says "Your Topics"? I was able to add Home Decorating Conversations there. There's an edit button, and if you go down to "All Topics", they are arranged alphabetically. I don't seem to be as traumatized by the change as everyone else. My work laptop flipped to Houzz format only a long time ago, while my home laptop inexplicably stayed with the GardenWeb format. I've been flip-flopping between the two for a long time.
