To get a google spider to visit and catalogue your website click on 'about google' on their homepage then add URL. You only ever need do this once....See MoreHouzz Has Become UnManageable... Comments (79)When I started using Houzz I was amazed at how accurate the results of my searches were (in addition to the size of the photos database). It was a great resource. More recently when I've prepared to undertake projects, I've noticed that I just don't get the same, accurate results. My searches are riddled with results that just aren't pertinent. I think this is due to the incorporation of advertisers from my city and surrounding areas (contractors, builders, and others). The attached pic is of one of the Brooklyn fixtures. Lemme know if this helps! I love lighting.....See Morehouzz search
Comments (3)I've been finding that the search feature within Houzz has been better for me than in the old GW. But I often get best results by searching through Google. Into a Google searchbox I type something like: Hosta Plantaginea Gardenweb Voila - I get a good list of GW threads. And sometimes, depending on how many threads there may be on a subject, it will be broken down more specifically... like all about Plantaginea and sun, or Plantaginea and disease, etc... And of course using Chrome as your browser will make it all better, too. (Just my personal experience/opinion.)...See Morearcy_gw
