Now that I'm retired from teaching, I can say September - I love the fall season (weather starting to get cooler here in NY) and I don't have to go back to work!

Got to be April. Everything is greening up really well, and I am usually so tired of the dead look of Winter.

Besides... my birthday is then too. :)

"Tax forms ask for black." In what state? The federal government doesn't require black ink on the IRS tax forms. In fact, color of ink isn't even mentioned, either on the form itself or in the instruction book. The Franchise Tax Board in the State of California doesn't require any particular color, either. If you want to get really technical, they don't even require a signature in ink. You could sign in pencil or Crayon. All the instructions say is "You must sign your tax return in the space provided...." "i agree on the 'legal' important stuff i only use black ink." "At work I do use a blue fine point so I can decipher my signature on the original documents from the copies." My husband is an attorney, and I used to work as a paralegal. I was also a Notary. Hubs and I both insist on blue ink for signatures on original documents. It's virtually impossible to tell if a "black signature" is an original or a copy.

I work from home, and I was spending a week with Gary (who lived an 8 hour drive away from me). It was the day of my monthly one-on-one with my manager, which we were doing over the phone. Gary came in the room behind me and I reached my hands up over my shoulders to hold hands with him for a minute. He slipped the engagement ring on my finger!! I had to go on acting 'professional' on the phone, which was one of the most difficult things I've ever done :-) Poor Gary was disappointed that I didn't immediately tell my manager right on the spot. But he got over that and we are one of the happiest pairs of newlyweds ever (we were married almost 8 months ago). He's my best friend and one of the sweetest guys ever.

Yes I do. Last night at the beach bar-I consoled a younger gal in the ladie's room-she was sobbing uncontrollably. I walked over to her & asked if she needed a hug, which she said "Yes, please?" She told me her 8 yr old son was riding his bike a year ago yesterday & a car went out of control, hit him & killed him. And...it was her birthday! Hubs had brought her out for dinner & music to cheer her up. Anyway-some gal comes around each night selling flowers & this bereaved mother bought 6 pink roses & brought them over to me and said 'thank you for being my angel'. I was touched beyond words.

March, hands down. My husband takes the entire month off, and I just love having him home. We call it a dress rehearsal for retirement--and I cannot wait until he really retires in about 2 years.

June maybe. The weather is usally nice plus that is when DH and I usually take a short vacation.

April. The weather is usually just about perfect then. The flowers and plants bloom again and the air smells so clean and fresh. I love having the doors and windows open and saving $$$ without running the heat or air!!

I love May- Here at the nursery there are close to 3000 roses in bloom. Nothing beats that.

I love summer and being able to play outside but my favorite month is October. I love the feel to the air and all the little trick-or-treaters but I also hate the fact that winter and the stress of the holidays are just around the corner.

July is my favorite because it's my birthday month- also my DD's, a niece's & of course my twin's b'day all on the same day. That makes it very special. :)

April or May, Spring has always been my favorite time of year.

Also April or May, May leading just a bit. Birthday, Mother's Day, anniversary, vacation.... :)

April has wonderful blooming things, though- lilacs, peonies, tulips, etc. It's tough to decide!
