Motion Sickness in Toddlers

My neice has suffered from motion sickness since birth. I know that it is uncommon before the age of 2, but we are certain that is what it is. She is now 2 1/2, and still suffers. She cannot take Dramamine until the age of 6 (I believe), and I don't know of any other medication she can take. I also suffer from motion sickness, so I completely understand what she is going through. I know that I cannot read or focus on anything in the car or I will get sick. I rarely ride in the backseat, so I have full visual of what is going on outside. Dramamine works very well for me (the non-drowsy kind). So, I know the triggers and ways to relieve feeling ill. But, what to do with a toddler? It is not fun getting sick every time you ride in a car. It is not fun cleaning up a kid who throws up regularly, either. Has anyone had any experience with children with motion sickness who can offer advice to prevent this poor girl from getting sick? Thanks so much :) Christy
