Help! I am trying to find the perfect gray (arent we all) for my office/baby's playroom. i have a white desk, white trim, and a lot of eastern light. i do not want a taupe-y gray or a beige-ish gray like bm revere pewter (which i love, but not for this room). i am usually stuck on really saturated colors, so that is still an option, but was thinking i wanted to go for something a little bit lighter (but still - not almost white).

i have tried gray cashmere - which is pretty but sooo very light in this large room and almost looked drab, even though it looks great in other rooms i have seen.

also have tried stonington gray which came highly recommended from many different forums concerning the color gray, but it actually looks taupe (purple undertone) in this room.

help!!! thanks in advance for your opinions!

oh yeah - all these colors are benjamin moore and i would prefer bm recommendations, but if there is just "THE perfect gray" by someone else, then that is great!! thanks so much!
