Recipe Help, Please

I was going to make Chiles Rellenos, but the pablano peppers were a little past their peak, so I had to come up with something else. It was sort of a one dish casserole. We liked it so I wrote everything down. I may have put in too much half and half and I was unsure about baking temp and time. It was not quite done in the middle. Any suggestions on how to bake it? Or anything else - Thanks :) Judy

2 pablano peppers

5 potatoes, shredded

1/2 cup onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

6 sausages (veggie)

4 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded

3 eggs

1/4 cup cream

pepper

salt

1 cup salsa

Directions

1. Seed and slice peppers. Steam skin-side up for 20 minutes. Peel and chop when steamed.

2. Brown shredded skin-on potatoes on both sides.

3. Saute onion, garlic and chopped MSF Sausages.

4. Layer potatoes - pablano peppers - onion/garlic/sausage -cheese and repeat once.

5. Mix eggs, salt, pepper and cream. Pour over layered ingredients.

6. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, reduce temp to 375 and bake another 15-30 minutes.

7. Serve with salsa (or for Bill-ketchup).
