Hi ..I live in Pnconning MI and my Hummers left for awhile but then in this last couple of months they came back. Three of them were very tiny, babies I think. Now I have the ruby throated but these tiny ones were different. One had a black body and a slight lighter underside..ten theres the other baby that has the black head. Are they Rubies also? Well. I'm saying this with the utmost respect and kindness, but: y'all have nothing on me! I just came inside from planting my last 80 bulbs. It was fun, actually (although my feet are now very cold). The ground here is frozen about an inch down. So I levered up frozen slabs with a shovel, added amendments to the cool but unfrozen soil underneath, plunked in the bulbs. I replaced the frozen crust, then jumped up and down on it a few times to settle everything. Easy--and I'm sure all of my non-gardening, home-on-vacation neighbors found it highly entertaining. Tomorrow, I have to finish my "fall" cleanup. I left the hose out--thankfully, I had the sense to disconnect and empty it--and the garden is strewn with a variety of pots, some planted and some not, all of which have to go...somewhere. Then there are a few things left to plant: a peony division, a few day lily divisions, and so on. It's not my fault! :) I suffer from the delusion that I live in northern England, and I learned a lot about gardening from a former neighbor in Cambridge (MA, not England). This lovely, intrepid/crazy lady routinely planted bulbs in late December and had a collection of vines growing up supports she's super-glued to the apartment building next to hers. She planted her bulbs in the "verge" (area between sidewalk and street), which was prime dog-walking territory in that neighborhood. No matter, she had a grade-school-age relative draw graphic pictures to illustrate a number of "This is Not a Dog Toilet!" signs. Anyway, her garden thrived, and mine does, too. I like to push a few limits in it. So you can all relax, and feel very organized and on-schedule. Amanda - And hey--I've got pansies blooming!

Does anyone have a problem with smaller loads becoming unbalanced. I've owned the washer 2 weeks and have done approximately 15 loads and so far 2 have given me the uE error and extended the wash to rebalance the load. One load didn't recognize it was unbalanced but the tub was almost violently swaying side to side, the sheets were balled up on one side, and there wasn't enough water in there to move the clothes at all. This was only one set of queen sheets. I stopped the cycle, redistributed everything and the pressed the extra water button. It seemed a little better after this, but it's frustrating that I find myself needing to watch every load to make sure it's working properly. To me it seems the washer works better with larger loads, but does not work so well with smaller loads. Has anyone else come to this conclusion? Also, my washer has never had any jet spray action, where it's spinning very fast and the water is shooting from the top onto the clothes. Is this normal? Should I see this on every wash? Another issue I'm having is I was using powder detergent (only half of what is recommended by Tide on the box)...and after each wash cycle I stopped it and looked in the dispenser and over half of the detergent was still inside. This happened on every wash, cold, warm, hot, it didn't matter. I emailed LG and attached a picture and their response was to switch to liquid detergent. And my last question is, has anyone noticed the tub "creeking?" This started about 5 washes ago and it creeks like an old rocking chair. I can hear it from the next room with the door closed. I'm wondering if I need to have a service person come out.
