Bedroom fan ideas -- not ceiling fans

We are inthe process of installing a new chandelier in our master bedroom -- literally. They are hanging it right now (had it on my calendar for next week, but whatever. We have always used a ceiling fan in the summer (6-9 months of the year here) and DH says he wants a floor, table top or some other fan to use when we are sleeping at night. I agree, but what something that looks good. We might be able to use a wall mount one, but am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good looking fan option that isn't a ceiling fan. Style is a bit transitional to eclectic -- traditional furniture with a contemporary/transitional chandelier and some more contemporary art and rug.

I replaced a ceiling fan with a chandelier in my guest room and still wanted guests to have the option of a fan. It took me over a year to locate it, but this is a Casablanca fan that works like a dream, doesn't make much noise, and is very heavy.

They make other models, more contemporary.

How about a wall mounted fan? Consider fans from Matthews fans and Fanimation. There are a few more options. I have 8' ceilings and the huggers are wonderful and work very well. My huggers are from Modern fan. I saw that Matthews Fan just added a ceiling hugger that is also very appealing. Good luck!

The antique looking floor fan was the direction I was leaning, but the Dyson floor model is cool too. I'm going to have to figure out what the best placement for one is and go from there.
